The gentleman who took me around The Barrington Senior Living was Ryan. I also met the staff, the residents and they were all very, very nice and informative. The residents there were clean, dressed, and moving about. One of the ladies sat down at the baby grand piano and played for me. It was extraordinary (they have a baby grand piano in their lobby). She just sat down and started playing like she was on a concert stage. I didn't get to try their food yet, but Ryan said whenever I come back with my friend if she wants to come down and see the place, we can certainly go into their little restaurant. They don't have certain times when people have to eat. You can go in at any time and get waited on like you're at a restaurant. They are still doing renovations, but from what I saw, the facility was beautiful and clean. It smelled nice, which I'm a big fan of in places where old people live as some of them can be pretty disgusting, but this place was clean. It was lovely.

I am very pleased with the staff, the facility, and the general outlook of The Barrington Senior Living. I eat two meals a day when I'm there and the meals are good. The head of the kitchen, Rene, is exceptional, very thoughtful and considerate. The manager who takes care of the place, Jessica, is fantastic as well. The activities are superb. They're very thoughtful and considerate with that, too.

I visited The Barrington and I liked the people that were there, the employees, and the guests. The other facilities were old. It had linoleum floors, old carpet, and old cabinets from the 70s. The building was beautiful but it was dusty and it wasn't clean. The staff was wonderful. They have a gym, a salon, a theater, and a courtyard.

I like the affordability of The Barrington Senior Living, but I wasn't a fan of the overall quality and the lack of ongoing upkeep. The thing I liked least is the fact that it's a rental and the fact that it's dated. It needs upgrading. However, the staff were very, very nice, very inclusive and very informative. They had a gym and a courtyard. It's old, but the room sizes are acceptable. It's a very convenient location, too. It's near to restaurants and hospitals, to anything you want.

I toured The Barrington Senior Living. The apartments were nice. The living quarters were nice and big. Their outdoor area was nice and inviting. The staff who gave the tour were great. Ryan was knowledgeable about dementia, the facility itself, and the care that was provided there. Their activity chart was very extensive. Every week there were way more activities than anywhere else that we toured. They had a lot for everybody to do throughout the day every day. The dining area was clean and nice. However, there's no diversity there at all.

Mom has lived here for 3+ years and service has gotten progressively worse 2 Executive Directors in a little over a years time. HVAC - ongoing problems with air and heat Housecleaning is irregular. I often have to clean it myself Most of the staff is lovely, I just think they are understaffed and probably underpaid Very disappointed, we are looking for other options.

I was able to tour The Barrington Senior Living. I was highly impressed with the staff and the attentiveness of the people who live there. The cafeteria was beautiful and the menu was really great. They've got all the things I'm looking for. They have people active in the community. They do a lot of day trips and they go to different places. And I know they have an outside court and everything looked well-maintained. The staff sat me down and went over the process with me and answered all my questions. The rooms were great, nice and clean, and spacious, and they're really impressed with that place.

It turns out that what I'm gonna need is a memory care unit for my wife and The Barrington said that's something they didn't do, but they gave me a few recommendations with different other places. I liked the single room that the staff showed me. It had a full-size refrigerator, and a small stove and it had a little balcony off it. It was a pleasant room. I had two people tour me around and they were both very knowledgeable and both very good. They offered me a meal, but it was afternoon and I had some errands to do. I thanked them very much for the offer and left. The building seemed to go around the courtyard in the middle of it.

My tour at The Barrington was very impressive. It has nice rooms and staff. The rooms were a really good size, the staff was delightful and I love the grounds. They also had a pool in the back and I was very impressed.

We didn't like The Barrington too much. We just weren't interested in them. That corner, traffic is so busy. I felt like you could hear the traffic inside the facility. The location is what turned us off. The staff was very nice and very personable. The facility was fine. It was the location that we didn't like. And we just kind of chalked it off right in the beginning because we had a hard time getting in and out of there. We didn't like all the traffic and it was built so close to the street.

My experience with The Barrington was wonderful. We found my mom a really nice one-bedroom apartment there. When she transferred from the other facility to The Barrington, I came into town for a week to help my sister pack up my mom's condo. They allowed me to stay there for the full week with my mom. She has a sofa sleeper, so it was really nice. I was not allowed to dine with her in the dining room or do any of the activities with her because of COVID, which is completely understandable, but they were wonderful letting me stay there for a week with her. They were very helpful when I would move things from her condo into the apartment, they gave me a little wagon to borrow, and they were just so sweet. The staff there was just very kind and loving with her. I can vouch for the staff there because I saw them care for my mom. They have so much going on. They had happy hour on Fridays from 3:00 to 5:00, they would have entertainers with bands come in, they did a Hawaiian luau for the residents. They would come take my mom down to the dining room. She got to sit and visit with people while she'd have her meal. She said the food was delicious. When she would push her call button (she had a little pendant necklace), there were a couple of times it took someone a while to get there, but of course they were tending to another resident at the time. I would say within 15 minutes somebody was coming into her room. They came in a couple of times during the night to check on her, which was difficult when I was staying there, but I know it was good for her. It was very clean, it was very homey, and she felt like she had her own apartment. The activities were great. They did crafts. They had somebody come in and do manicures and hand massages. It was just a wonderful facility. It breaks my heart that she can't go back there.

My parents moved into The Barrington last month, they liked it. They're doing everything that they're supposed to be doing and helping. I think the staff is awesome. They don't always like the food given to them. They have activities every day. They have bingo, crafts, and exercises. They have a pool, a place for exercise, they have a pool room, a card room, they have a library, and they have a place to give haircuts.

We went to the Barrington, it was very pleasant, the employees were great, and everything was nice and clean. Everybody seemed happy that they were there. They had happy hour, we were invited to that, and they sang old songs. It was very good and very nice. They also have many trips, and they offer all kinds of recreation like Bingo and cards. They have rides to the grocery stores and to doctors. It's an older building.

The Barrington had a screened-in porch, which was nice. The staff was fine. I didn't see any problems. The cleanliness and dining area looked good. The only thing we didn't care for was if she went from independent to assisted, she'd have to move apartments.

The Barrington was a very nice facility, but they had no availability on the ground floor. The lady that took us around was very nice. They had an outdoor pool that was a pretty good walk to get to. It's not huge.

The Barrington was nice and modern looking. They had a nice swimming pool, served all three meals, and had transportation to doctors' offices. We had a nice lady who showed us around and had all the information we needed. She showed us one room that was adequate and very nice. It was a very nice visit. We’d consider it when we decide to move somewhere because I like this area.

The Barrington is nice. The staff is OK. Food sometimes is good and sometimes bad. The place is clean. About half of the staff members are friendly. I’m OK with this place.

The Barrington was a very beautiful place. The apartments were a nice size, and the staff seemed helpful and friendly, but it was assisted living, so most of the people there were in wheelchairs and walkers. They needed a lot more assistance than my parents do, so that's why it was not an option. The assisted living part was separate from the independent living, but all of the common areas were used by both.

The Barrington had independent living, but my mom felt it was more institutional than independent living. Everybody at the tables in the dining room and in the common rooms were in wheelchairs or walkers. My parents were still very much independent and a lot healthier than how these other people looked. It was depressing for my parents to be in that kind of environment.

Great place, very bright and open. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The apartments are big with plenty of space. There are plenty of activities to do everyday. When I was there I saw several of the residents having fun playing a game. People were socializing in the dining room and one gentlemen said the meal was great today. I did not notice any orders in the hallways. They were very free to give prices and did not hesitate when questions were asked about what was included. Impressed

The cleanliness at Barrington and the attention to the location of all of the residents were very impressive. They seemed to always know where everybody was. It was very nice. Alice, the lady we talked with, was very helpful. We didn’t try the food, but it smelled good. The dining room looked very nice. They actually had two dining rooms, one being for people with more serious issues at risk of choking. There were people playing cards and games, and something was going on in the main hall. It was nice but wasn’t right for my parents.

I have gone to a tour in The Barrington. The staff there seemed to be very competent. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful. Their work attitude seemed fine to me. Basically, they had a one bedroom apartment which looked very nice. It had its own private terrace and a small kitchenette. It was all freshly painted with all new carpets and large closets. The apartments were pretty much identical for both independent and assisted living. I haven't got to eat there, but they seemed to have a large menu. They had a beautiful dining room. They even had specials everyday as well as regular food. They had a library, a beauty shop, and a pool too. They really had a beautiful building and grounds. You could even walk the grounds for a quick exercise.

I have been in The Barrington for almost a year now. I am in an apartment and it is excellent. I think the staff is very nice and very kind. They also have a great housekeeping staff. I cook one meal a day, and the food that they serve is really excellent. There are all kinds of things that you can involve yourself in right here. It has a physical fitness room. It has an excellent library, and it has programs that they do all week long in what they called "the gathering place" which is a large community room.

We will be moving my mom to The Barrington in two weeks. Our visit there was very nice. It was bright and cheery. The rooms were a good size and very similar to what she's in. They invited us to stay for lunch and the food was excellent. They seemed to have quite a bit of activities, but we only saw one, which was a happy hour on a Friday afternoon and it was great. The staff seemed to be terrific and we were really impressed. I guessed the friendliness of the staff stood out.

My cousin lives in the Barrington. The place was inviting, and it seemed to have lots of activities. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful and very informative. The dining facilities were very comfortable and very satisfactory. The residents looked both happy and well cared for.

We moved mom to The Barrington, and we did like it because it's a much smaller community than the other one. The food is wonderful. They are just much more personal, and that is what I was looking for. The caregiver helps her shower, and she receives her medication in a timely manner. Mom has more activities than she could possibly ever do. They have bingo and church services. On Fridays, they have happy hour, and anything that she would want is at Barrington. I would recommend this facility.

The one thing I didn't like with The Barrington is that you have to evacuate. I don't think I want to get into another situation where we'd have to evacuate in case of a hurricane here in Florida. At least they have buses standing by. I don't think The Barrington offers as much as far as assisted living. The staff was marvelous. We went to a dinner and the food was adequate.

I found the Barrington very nice. Very nice rooms too. Actually I was looking at a two bedroom for my mom and dad. The staff was very friendly, cordial, willing to give anything information-wise that I asked. They said they had various activities and daily transport to any place residents would like to visit; that kind of stuff. The best thing is that my parents could stay theretogether, and mom could receive extra care as she needed. Like I said, they had extra facilities to take them to doctor's office when they needed to. They have a pool and other basic amenities.
