My husband uses Gentiva for help with his daily personal needs such as light cleaning ,occasional cooking , hygiene care etc. His care giver ,Donna, is courteous, caring and always willing to help out where she can. She is punctual and hasn't missed a day yet. We can always count on her to do a thorough and efficient job. We love her ! Whenever we have any questions for Gentiva, they have always been polite and professional. We are very pleased with Gentiva and would rate them the highest possible 5 out of 5.

My interactions with my caregiver has been really good. The only regret that I have is with V.A. They reduced my eligibility hours when I moved to Rancho Cordova. Gentiva has made the transition to a new county really smooth.

The workers of Gentiva Personal Care have done an amazing job with my mom. First off my mother is a very very difficult patient. I live out of state and have had a very hard time finding care for my mom that she will agree to or even let help. I have gone through other caregivers and companies that have not been able to help. Clayton has been on top of it since day one and knowing he was going into a difficult situation with my mom he still went forward. He has brought on a couple different caregivers and the first one didn’t work out but he sent another and she has done an excellent job. Donna not only has been helping my mom but she even stayed with my mom when she was having an episode and helped her calm down. She even stayed when she was supposed to be off. They are very good at communicating with me and keeping me up to date for my mother does not tell me everything. It means the world to have people like this helping me out and making my mom feel comfortable. Thank you Clayton and Donna for dealing with a difficult situation and continuing to give excellent care. You are all the answer to my prayers! Thank you!!!

My experience with Kindred at Home is very good. It started out a little slow because the first attendant wasn't very good, but they quickly helped find other attendants that were good. They come on time, they're very respectful, and they do a great job at helping me out and cleaning things and occasionally cooking me meals. They're friendly and helpful. If something needs to be changed, they call me and let me know in advance, so I'm very pleased with them. One of the things I would encourage Kindred to do is to look at how far a caregiver has to travel. One of the caregivers I had cost her a lot to come out here because she lived on the other side of town, and so it was hard for her to handle that expense. She explained to them what was going on, and she said she'd still be willing to come out here, but it was just too difficult for her, and so they found somebody else, and that was great. I'm really pleased with their services and really appreciate them.

We have been using Kindred at Home for a little bit over a year and a half. They are very good. The provider I have is a very pleasant person and does nice work. My caregiver does laundry, cleans the bathroom and the kitchen, and soon will start to help with shopping and going for walks to get me some exercise. She is good. She is always early by a few minutes. She is very good at that regard. The caregivers are reliable. If I have something I need to change, like session of caregiving, they work with me very well on that.

I'm using Kindred at Home for a couple of months now. They're for my husband. At first, they were not good at communicating with me, but now they're good. At first, they sent a person on the wrong day, or they didn't show up. The person they got me asked for my phone number and she also gave me her phone number, which they said they're not supposed to do. Then that person called me one day and said she was going to be late or an hour late, It was kind of last minute, but after that, they got me a regular caregiver, and she's very good. She's a few minutes late every day, but not anything that's a big deal. They provide standby assistance, fall prevention, meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. She is very nice, very cheerful and seems to care about my husband's welfare. She's willing to do more than she has to do. I think she wanted more to do sometimes.

My mom used Kindred at Home. Everything went great. They were very professional and kind. My mom had quite a bit going on, so it was very busy for them for quite a few weeks. Then she started getting better and she was able to do some of the things herself. They were all very good. Whenever we had any questions or anything that we weren't sure about, they took care of everything. They're really good. We never did anything like this before but my sister-in-law had used Home Instead and so she recommended them. For my mom, they were there for 5 to 6 weeks. Then she progressively got better and so it was less and less work for them. Finally, she got to the point where she didn't feel like she needed them to be there anymore. When they started, they knew that this was going to be hopefully something she was going to get better at and that it was going to be short-term.

Kindred at Home was good. I had two caregivers. The last one was OK, but my husband had to go to the hospital. The caregiver just helped me in the house, but with my husband, not much, because I was the one to do those. Sometimes she just talked to him and I did the house.

The majority of caregivers from Kindred at Home were wonderful people. I enjoyed working with them. They came in very friendly and they worked very thoroughly with what they did. My husband didn't want anybody else to bathe him but me. He didn't mind them cooking for him or fixing him breakfast or sandwich for lunch, other than those he wanted me to do most of the things. Well, they did his exercise routine with him. He enjoyed working with them. I was very satisfied, and my husband was comfortable with them.

We have been using Kindred at Home for six to seven months now for my dad-in-law. They're really good. We have had some ups and downs with scheduling, with not being able to find people, and with people not coming when they're supposed to. However, they have been able to resolve the issue and find somebody else. My dad-in-law really likes them. They help him with bathing and with getting out of bed. Sometimes they help him with meal prep when I'm not at home.

My husband is perfectly fine with Kindred at Home. We have been using them for four to five months now. We have a person who comes in twice a week. He cleans my husband up, he changes his bed linens, and he helps him do exercises. We are very pleased with him. My husband is very comfortable with him. He likes him, too. The scheduling works out and the billing is through the VA. They're reliable, they do a good job, and they care about the patients.
