MorningStar of Boise has a 24-hour a day staff. I liked the room. It has a balcony. The layout/design was nice, and in fact, their upper floor had lots of sunlight and a view. It was my mom's first choice. I met Aleyna and she was good. The cleanliness was very good, too. If Mom's needs weren't so high, it would have been where she goes. It was certainly her choice because she really liked the room. To me, it was very nice. My mom has a high preference for a view, and pretty much none of the places have any kind of a view, but MorningStar of Boise did, and that was important to her. The best view was on the third floor. It had large windows and a bright view. So, the layout and the structure of the room was fantastic. The facility was relatively large, so I really liked it. The problem is that I think there's limited care.

I would give MorningStar of Boise an overall of four for the staff and for the place, but they did not meet my requirement of allowing me to bring my reloading equipment. I was told that I would be having lunch there, but lunch wasn't offered. The facility was pleasant. The surroundings were pleasant. The rooms were pleasant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, "Hope you move here soon," like that. They had a garden that was manicured. Excellent maintenance of the landscape, almost too good. It was impressive.

We've toured MorningStar of Boise and we're very impressed with it. Their rooms were nice but not as big as the other place I visited, they were apartment-style dwellings and not cottages, so they seemed a little smaller. The staff was very accommodating, and they had a lot of information. They showed us their exercise room and there's also a theater where they showed movies. The facility was very good and very clean, everything was in good repair, and I didn't see anything that was not adequate. I am partial to the ground-floor level apartments, and the one we looked at was on the second floor. The parking area was a little difficult to get to.

I toured MorningStar of Boise, and it was very positive. My friend reacted very positive also. It's my understanding that it is one of the top two that she is considering. She really liked that. She liked some of the special things about the little coffee shop and so on. I was surprised that she reacted that way because she had been very negative towards large places, but there were enough more intimate areas that seemed to kinda counter that. The rooms were not the largest that we had seen, but they were larger than some. They were very clean. Thinking in terms of how her furniture would fit and so on, it looked like it would be very livable. The staff was very amenable, friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic.

I love that MorningStar of Boise had light and happy surroundings. I liked the administrator, the head nurse, and the way they were set up in terms of being able to care for the people who needed assisted living. They have a great big dining room that many of the independent living people use, although anybody including assisted living residents can also use it. They have a smaller dining area closer to the assisted living area, and they have their own kitchen staff and own chef. It's a large facility and it has more than one floor. The rooms are great, roomy, have plenty of storage, the bathrooms are excellent for somebody who needs some assistance or has to use a wheelchair, there's small kitchenettes, good windows, and good light.

We like MorningStar of Boise and put our names on the waiting list. The rooms that we looked at were all occupied. They seemed to have lots of amenities. We ate lunch, and the food server and meal were excellent. The staff members were very friendly and very nice. The waiters in the dining room were excellent.

We are on a waiting list at MorningStar. The place was very clean and absolutely amazing. The staff was very good. They took us through the entire community. My mother said she felt like she did when she walked into a candy store as a little kid. She had the same feeling from the environment there. It was very nice and friendly. There were many happy residents. They have lots of positive activities for the adults, and they provide transportation seven days a week. They have independent living with a washer and dryer in their main building.

MorningStar is a bigger facility, and it had more activities. They’re very involved with their residents and the families working with them. It had more amenities, a lot more attention, and different care levels that could be provided for the residents.

I was very concerned about going from my house to an Assisted Living (AL) facility. My initial move was to the Adult Living part of the campus. However, due to the number falls I had taken, the paramedics recommended that I move to the AL facility where there was more staff. It turns out that this was the correct choice. During our search for the right facility we visited 4-5 different facilities campuses and finally settled on MorningStar. We selected MorningStar for the following reasons: 1. the ratio of staff to residents, 2. the level of activity, 3. the variety of activities 4. the competency of the staff 5. And, the upkeep of the buildings. This is by no means everything we looked at but I've provided list of some of then most important. I feel the best thing potential residents is to visit the facility (more than once), have lunch with the staff and residents and even stay at the facility. I hope this helps and will make the transition easier.

We were very impressed with Morning Star. It was immaculate. The residents very attentive and very engaged. The staff was friendly, inviting, and inclusive.

MorningStar Senior Living of Boise was new, and it was fantastic. It had everything anybody could actually need. It even has a steam room, it has a sauna, and then they also have where they keep you wrapped down if you need them. They have a general store, a library, and movies which are shown every three hours. It was just a fantastic place, but they were a little higher-priced.

The staff was very friendly at the MorningStar of Boise. The facility was neat and clean, and it just felt very comfortable. They have very good food service, television, and all kinds of activities. My mother likes to go to church on Sundays, and they provide transportation to and from church for her. They have bingo nights, a New Year’s eve party, and Christmas dinner. They just seem to take care of the residents very well.

I'm moving to MorningStar. I chose them because the apartment was larger. I like the location. The price was appealing. It was comparable. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good.

We selected MorningStar. Their facilities were very nice. The rooms had high ceilings. We selected a suite with two bedrooms. It was very well appointed and very nice. They had things that were interesting and seemed to fit in with our particular needs better than the others we visited.

Morning Star is in the vicinity of where my dad was placed. They were helpful when we moved my mom, with getting things done, like mirrors and extra storage shelves, which was nice. My mom's been mostly satisfied with the food. They had a nice Easter brunch that included the family. That was really nice. They have everything, like Wii tennis, aerobics, mall trips, and they put out a daily sheet of the daily activities, which my mom finds really useful. They also have study groups. The location was the deciding factor.
