Greenfield of Williamsburg was good. My husband stayed there and I liked the community. The facilities were clean and they were very, very friendly. They had crafts, somebody that would come in to do haircuts, and an activity director. They were kind people and they worked with us.

Greenfield of Williamsburg was nice and very clean. I didn't see no cobwebs or trash laying around. I didn't smell any booboo from someone or vomit or anything like that. They smelled clean and fresh. All I could smell was the seasoning coming from the cafeteria with their cooking, and it smelled very good. The staff who toured me was very kind, and very knowledgeable regarding the rooms and things that they can do. They had a schedule of events that come up and you can go to those events. It could be art or getting your hair cut. She showed me the barbershop and hair salon. She even told me about Bible study, which my dad loves. They had a movie night last night. I like the fact that they have art activities for them, a library, reading books, and things of that nature to keep them occupied. She showed me a 65-inch flat screen TV and a popcorn machine. The popcorn is light and didn't have any butter on it or salt. They had chips and bananas and apples in bowls. I really liked the setup that they had down there. They have a terrace where you could step and sit outside. They got wicker chairs and grills. I love the black baby grand piano they had in the main room when you first walked in. They had fireplaces everywhere, in the main room and the cafeteria. I'm sure that's real cozy and warm for the patients. The staff was very sweet. She showed me the breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule for them, and if they sleep a little later, the family can let the community know that. The dining area was beautiful. They had chandeliers and fireplaces. The tables were set up with the fork, knife, and spoon already, and nice, clean napkins. It was clean. I didn't see any bugs running or cobwebs or any trash. I didn't see any diapers thrown anywhere. They really disinfect and clean the place. It smelled real fresh and clean. I had never seen anything so clean. I didn't get to try the food, but once my father gets in there, I can come down there and have breakfast with him, or lunch or dinner. We'll just let them know in the cafeteria they'll prepare a meal for the family member. They said you can eat there or you can check your family member out and take them to get something to eat. It was in the heart of Williamsburg. If a family member wants to take him away to get dinner or breakfast, there's a lot of restaurants right by him. They even had a bouncy house there for the kids. They have an ice cream parlor there, pizzeria, and an antique store. The first room had two single beds. They were made really nicely. They had rugs on the floor because they were wood floors. They had two nice sitting chairs and a little round table in between them. You can bring a recliner or a nice rocking chair for your family member, so it feels more like home. You can bring pictures of the family, bring pictures of Jesus or something you want to put up. You can bring a TV. You can even bring refrigerator and a microwave. They had a nice closet space. You could roll the wheelchair inside of the shower and you could put a chair in the shower too where they can sit. The bathroom was clean. They had all the sanitizers and stuff around. It looked like a five-star hotel. They had wheelchairs in there if you don't have one. They have a pull cord in the bathroom. The staff was very kind and cordial. The only thing was I didn't see any residents at all like sitting in the sitting room where the TV is. I didn't see anyone outside in the hall.

We're leaning towards Greenfield of Williamsburg because of the layout, the rooms, and the amenities that were offered there. The dining area was excellent including the layout, the food menu was superb. I met the instructor for the exercise and activities program, and went through with me the ones that were in control of the involvement of the people. They had a lot of tours and things they would take, like going to the botanical gardens and going to the light shows. And I was impressed with that place. The living atmosphere, if I were in that situation, that'd be somewhere I'd want to stay. When you walked into the place, everything was just right there, all the amenities and you can see one end to the other. There were blind spots that people could hide.

I visited Greenfield of Williamsburg. It was good, Brett was very professional. The facility was clean. The staff was friendly. I met a couple of the residents, so it was a good experience. Just based up on what I saw, and Brett, and the staff members, I was pleased. The outdoor facilities were where the families can go and visit the residents. They were doing games when I got there.

We toured Greenfield of Williamsburg for my husband, and we loved it, we liked it. I remembered they were nice, and professional. They offered more than what we are asking for, and they seem to care for the patients.

Greenfield Senior Living of Williamsburg was a nice community that did not smell like a nursing home. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Their rooms were a little small but very clean. I did not try the food, but I saw their dining room, and it was very nice. They seemed like they were really taking care of the residents, who looked happy.

We have been very happy with Greenfield of Williamsburg. It's newly renovated and particularly we have been extremely happy with the staff who are very caring and attentive with my mother-in-law. I had some meals with her and the food was very good.
