I thought Maplewood at Mayflower Place was very nice. It seemed to be clean. The people were friendly. It was modern. It was just a very nice facility. The staff who toured me was great and very helpful. She had lots of information, and she was very nice. The dining room was like a restaurant; it was very nice. They have a library and an exercise area. But I was very interested in what the apartment looked like.

My sister was in their rehab and could not go home so they offered her a respite in the assisted living. Joan was not only taken care of but thrived in the environment. When the 30 day respite ended, Joan decided to stay. We are relived that Joan is not only safe but very social as well.

My aunt moved into Mayflower Assisted Living and is having such a great experience. She has friends she meets every day, and loves having catholic mass at the community on Sundays.

My Dad is a resident at Mayflower Place, after trying to convience him to move for over 3 years. He had been alone and not eating well. We have seem him transform to a become a very outgoing man again. He plays poker, goes to the gym and has so many new friends. He also is finally eating healthy. He is so happy with his new apartment. We also feel better that we know he is being taken care of and getting his medications correctly.

My Dad is in the Nursing home and my mom is in an independent living apartment. My mom can walk a hallway every day to see my dad. The goal was to keep them together and we are so happy this option is available. My mom is now with her husband every day and still can enjoy time with her friends at the community and not have to be his caretaker anymore. Our family is very happy with this community and the staff.

I have an Aunt that lives at Maplewood at Mayflower Place and I cannot believe the difference she is since she moved in. Prior to moving in she was in her house watching a lot TV and just lonely. Since she has moved in she has many friends and is always busy going to an activities. She also is walking much more and her balance has greatly improved. We as a family are so grateful of her decision to move and also know she is well cared for.

I was treated horribly at Maplewood at Mayflower Place. It was awful and I would give it a zero if I could. The facilities were beautiful, but I have a feeling that once you get in there, they will treat you like dirt just like the place where my mother was at. The second time I went there, they wouldn't even give me a showing. They said," You've been here once, why do we need to give you a showing?" It was the rudest thing. I toured the independent living side, their assisted living was in the other building. The layout was basic. It's new and clean but the rooms were small. They don't have a gym either. They said they do but all they have was some sort of a pedal thing there so they don't have a gym. I didn't have a good feeling about the level of assistance the people who work there have. I will not put my mother there. On my last visit there, I would say that the staff was rude. The facility was small but pretty.

I love where I live. I have had an apartment at Mayflower Place for 7 years. My apartment is so spacious, and I love having a washer and dryer in my apartment. The staff is so friendly and caring. I love the fitness center and have worked out for many years. Now I do chair exercise in the theater and the trainer comes to my apartment twice a week to help with exercise. I also enjoy cooking breakfast and lunch and look forward to going to dinner every night in the dining room. I am so fortunate that my sister showed me this community! The activities are great when you feel like going!

Maplewood at Mayflower Place was a beautiful facility with very nice staff and residents. It's very clean, very up to date, with great amenities and great services. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The staff who gave us the tour was very helpful and they have a great variety of activities.

My mother's rent has been raised significantly, without justification, EVERY year that she has been in this profit-making community. In 7 years, her rent has gone up by 34%. Though the people working in the community are good people, the offsite management is trying to squeeze every dollar possible out of vulnerable older people who would find it very difficult to relocate.

Maplewood at Mayflower Place has recently been taken over by a Connecticut company and their prices have gone way up, so we just backed off. They've redone a lot of the facility. I saw one room which has been totally redone, so it was clean and very adequate with new carpet and new paint. They only have one meal a day. The place is in a good location and it's all brand new. The rooms are complete apartments with a bathroom and a kitchenette.

We will be moving into Maplewood; it has all of the features that we are looking for to be able to move to independent living, and assisted living as needed without having to move. They also have memory care, skilled nursing care, and rehab. It had everything we were looking at for the progression that would be the least disturbing and you don’t have to leave and go to another complex someplace else. That was a deciding factor. We met various staff members and the residents. However, the units were smaller, and we were having a difficult time downsizing.

Maplewood was the best one on the Cape. Everyone was friendly and doing their jobs. It was clean, and my parents got excellent care. They could have a little bit better landscaping. The rooms were spacious and clean. Of all the nursing homes my parents have been in, the best food was Maplewood's. The dining area was comfortable, quiet, and elegant.

I actually like Maplewood at Mayflower Place. It wasn’t quite as clean as other places, but I would describe the facilities as very good, and the atmosphere was nice. The dining area wasn’t bad, and the food was good, though small portions for me, but I’m not elderly, so it was good. The dining area was not overpowering and didn’t have a very huge cathedral ceiling. It was cozy. They seemed to have a lot of activities, but we didn’t try anything. The traffic seemed to be loud.

I'm familiar with Mayflower Place because I use their water facilities. They have the three levels of care. They have independent, assisted, nursing home, and rehab. I deal with the staff in the health club, and they're excellent. They offer memberships to non-residents in their water classes. They also have a small gym. The staff is excellent. I know people that live there, and they all seem content and happy with the place. Mayflower Place is an older facility; it needs some sprucing up. Also the rooms were very nice, but I think the apartments when they become available need to be updated.

The were very nice and excellent. They have a rehab center, a nursing home and assisted living help. It would have been just nice if they have a full assisted living. That was my only complaint about the whole thing. Other than that, They were wonderful.

Mayflower is top-notch. They are wonderful to my husband and me. They saved his life and they're just wonderful. They actually have things for them to do so that they're social and they're just very caring.
