My health has improved by them. There was a period of time when I was very bad. If something happened to the person I have now, I'd be very uncertain if they could fill me in with a good caregiver. I've had two individuals here, and one of them didn't want to do any work at all.

There are so many different caregivers that bring different personalities and strengths. The thing that's the most difficult for them is consistency, but I think the nature of the business is to keep people consistently coming. I think they do the best that they can. I like their flexibility.

They do stuff I don't have to have deal with. I have a lung disease, and I can't breath in many cleaning chemicals supplies, so she does the cleaning in the bathroom for me and changes the bedding. I have been happy with them. The girl I have coming to the house is very conscientious. I have health issues for myself and am on disability. She is real pleasant, and she knows what I want done.

Some of them talked too much because they weren't comfortable with silences. When they did talk, it was about themselves and their own experiences. It wasn't really about my loved one. We went through way too many workers. Those who were older were more in tune with that. We had problems with the management and administration.

We had wanted to cut the hours down to twice a week, but they require three days a week. We didn't require that much care anymore, so we stopped the care. They could change that.
