We ended up going with Century Oaks in Appleton for my father-in-law. We made an impromptu visit there. We were greeted out in the parking lot by the director who asked why we were stopping by and asked us if we would like a tour and we said absolutely. They obliged us and it just so happened that they had two rooms available, one was an apartment and then one was a studio. All the residents in this particular building just seemed very calm. We talked with a few of the residents and they just felt happy. We knew right away it was a fit for our father. It seemed like the staff was very attentive to the residents. Overall, it was just a very pleasant experience especially for an impromptu visit when they didn't even know we were coming. I guess it was just a sign that it was meant to be. We were there during dinnertime and we got to see the food and we also saw the beverage center.

I’ve visited my mother-in-law here several times and it is an amazing place! staff are friendly , Very knowledgeable. Staff are also very attentive, her call lights were answered on time and she is always wearing clean fresh clothes and looks well cared for. They also have an RN on staff Alyssa, she is very kind and caring And also very knowledgeable. Every time we visit we are invited to stay for a meal Which we have taken them up on and the food is absolutely delicious! Tony the Century Oaks chef Served us two Entrées two different vegetables two different starches a huge salad bar and dessert it was delicious!! This place is always clean and beautiful the Decour looks like it was professionally decorated.

I will be forever greatful that my Grandpa had the opportunity to live the rest of his life in such a beautiful place with caregivers that not only took care of him but truly loved him. He was able to have the love of his life (Sophie the cat) live with him at Century Oaks. She was also treated like royalty. Century Oaks is the best of the best.

Living Arrangements
We invite prospective residents to choose from our spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. All of our units start at 600 square feet, with options for furnished or unfurnished. All of our units also feature walk-in closets with a washer and dryer, utilities packages (except personal phone), room service with in-room menus, and much more. We’re also pet-friendly and welcome furry friends to join our community as well!
Care Types Offered
Century Oaks is a community-based residential facility (CBRF), which in the state of Wisconsin is a facility that provides care, treatment, and other services to five or more unrelated adults who need supportive or protective services or supervision. CBRFs are limited to those who do not require care above intermediate nursing care or more than three hours of nursing care per week. CBRFs are categorized by size, the resident's ability to evacuate, and disability/condition or status.
