What Is Memory Care?

What Are the Memory Care Regulations in Connecticut?
The Department of Public Health regulates Connecticut-based memory care facilities to ensure a high level of care. In the first 7 days of a resident moving in, a trained nurse provides a personalized care plan based on an assessment. All residents must receive three healthy meals every day, round-the-clock security and emergency help, planned social activities, transportation, a comfortable and clean place to live and housekeeping services.
All staff receives continuous, dementia-specific training.
