My parents have moved into The Landing. They're very accommodating and professional. The rooms are nice and clean. The facility is only about four years old. They had replaced the carpet, so the carpet is brand new, and the paint is good. Everybody seems to be pretty friendly. If I ever asked for anything, I was able to get it. My parents report that the food is average. I know that they had music the other day during one of the mealtimes, and they really liked that. The atmosphere seems to be pretty good. Overall, to me, they seem to be pretty happy where they're at. I haven't had that much contact with the staff, but the small contact that I have had has been overall very positive. It's a brand-new place, and it's clean and bright. I think that carries over into people's attitudes. Everybody seems to be pretty happy in there.

My husband will be moving into The Landing within the next week and a half or so. I found it to be very pleasant. I thought it might be a good fit for him. I could live there myself. The whole facility looked very well-maintained. I saw some residents playing cards. The room looked like it was adequately sized. It's not huge, but it's adequate. It had areas where people could congregate.

My mom has moved into The Landing. It's a wonderful facility. The caretakers have a big heart and have a lot of knowledge. They shared a lot of that with me, which has been very helpful. The room is excellent. I'm just getting to know the staff, but so far, so good. I have not observed any events yet, although I've seen the schedule. My mother is not able to participate, she just had hip surgery. They're doing her physical rehab there because we were not able to get her into a physical rehab. I haven't seen activities yet other than her physical rehab. The food is excellent.

The staff at The Landing was extremely pleasant, and they made us feel welcome. They treated my father very well. We saw a one-bedroom and a studio, and both were quite nice. It was a new facility, so everything was nice, shiny, and bright. They provided lunch for us in the family dining room, and lunch was very nice. They're not presently using the outdoor area, but we got to see it. They explained their plans for the future, and the staff was very pleasant.
