Do not, repeat do NOT send anyone you care about to this xxxxx excuse for a sub-acute rehabilitation facility. It stinks from the top-down. As is usually the case, the CNAs work the hardest and are the worst-paid employees. I've had a couple decent nurses here, and the higher up you go, the poorer the attitude. OTOH, the food isn't bad and the place doesn't smell like pee.

My sister is here This place is filthy! There has been a cookie under the her bed for four months! I keep taking pictures of it with dates on them! I haven’t picked it up myself just to prove a point. Staff is lazy, most days they don’t even get her dressed They don’t take care of her nails her teeth or her feet They bring in her tray while she is lying down and don’t sit her up to eat! There is never a pillow case on her plastic pillow She had the same nightgown on for days on end. This place should be shut down!

Please do not send your loved one here. The nurses are lazy and disrespectful. Not only was my mom covered in her own filth, but it has happened in numerous occasions and nothing has improved. For a place that charges and gouges people for as much as they do, they could at least give the people they serve some dignity and respect.

Dad was at Seneca Health Care Center and I would highly suggest not to bring anybody there. It's dirty. I know there's always good people working in places, but the staff there was just marginal at best. They had too many residents for each staff member. They had like a 13 to 1 ratio, which I thought was ridiculous. They had meals that were pre-made. They would just serve them on a tray and leave. The room was very cluttered and very small. They had to have a shared room with somebody else. You paid $5,000 a month more, which I thought was outrageously costly. The activities were marginal at best, too. The hallways were extremely cluttered, and in an emergency, you wouldn't be able to leave in a timely manner.

Majority of staff were caring and dedicated to patients, but their efforts are controlled by the doctor's orders. Our mother's doctor had her overmedicated for 5 weeks, to the point where she continuously fell asleep during her therapy. We were not allowed to meet with the doctor to discuss our concerns. As a result the Insurance company stopped covering her rehab. After being moved to long-term care, the doctor allowed our mother to sit in her bed/room and deteriorate for an additional 6 weeks. No plan to improve her quality of life. She left Seneca Manor weaker than when she entered, 20 pound weight loss, bed sores, and shingles due to the stress she went through. No support or help from administration. Their job is to keep the beds filled and bring in the money. No care or concern for the patients.

Staff is wonderful, caring and helpful. There has been a change in the past couple weeks, dog is no longer there, the beautiful fish tanks have been removed and there is a bad smell through out the facility. Hopefully these are temporary issues.

Horrible staffing. This can't be safe for the patients. My grammas roommate didn't even get her dinner. I told them and she got it an hour later.

My mother was a resident at Seneca for over 5 years before she passed away at age 97.. Over that time I got to know many of the staff members quite well and they were all caring and friendly, and dedicated to making life better for all the residents there. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and the loving staff that work there.

My wife was there because she had a fall and home and was afraid to walk. the staff was terrific in getting her out of bed and walking. before too long she was confident enough to come home. they even helped make arrangements to have people come in to help when she was home. They were a blessing.

My mother has lived at Seneca Health Care Center for a little over 2 years. They are a pretty decent home. My only gripe is that they can be understaffed at times. During the day, there may be 40 employee vehicles parked in the lot, in the evening if there are 4 or 5, that is as lot. I know that some aides take a bus to work, but upon entering the building, you can see they are short staffed. I am able to visit quite regularly, so I can "keep an eye" on my mom.
