My mom moved into Eagle Springs. I'm very happy with this place and I think they take very good care of her. The staff is very kind and caring. When I call and talk to them, I'm confident in the answers that they give me. They give her insulin, check her blood sugar, and make sure she's taking her meds. They make sure she's showering and washing her hair. They have a very nice activities director and they play dominoes, bingo, and they do some arts. They read stories where they all have a copy of it and they take turns reading it. Mom gets a stuffed animal when she plays bingo, and she keeps those in her room, and she is just so proud of those. I've eaten there a couple of times and I thought the food was good. The lockdown system is very good. You have to know the code or you can't get in or out. If you touch the bar to try to get out, it sets off an alarm. They have a couple of outdoor areas that the residents can go out to get fresh air that aren't outside of the facility. There's a main area where they hang out for the most part, and there's a TV there. They have a couple of podiums where they can watch the residents from there and make sure that everybody is OK.

We have recently moved our dad and stepmom into Eagle Springs. The staff has been most friendly, welcoming, and interested in understanding them and providing the best care possible for both of them and us during this difficult time of transition to more care. They have gone the extra mile in trying to overcome barriers of physical ability, care needs, thought processes, and forgetfulness to help them integrate into the activities and enrichment programs. It seems like the chef makes meals fresh from scratch, too. The activities are really enjoyable. The med nurse is passionate about giving good care. The marketing person has befriended them to help them adjust. We have been most happy with our experience there! Thank you, Eagle Springs, for making our parents' lives more joyful and comfortable!

Eagle Springs was a nice place. I ate there, and the food was really good. The staff was really caring. The rooms were a little small, and there was not much light, but they were nice. They had a lot of activities.

I was able to visit Eagle Springs Memory Care, and they do have a good staff. Their patient to staff ratio seemed adequate. Their facility was very clean. Their rooms were clean and homey, but not spacious. I saw their dining area, and it seemed completely adequate. I saw nothing wrong with it. During the visit, they treated me very well and answered all my questions. They showed me everything.

I was not happy with the care that my dad received there. He was there for three years. The first year was fine. It was when he could still toilet himself. But once he needed to be toileted and he refused the care, that was when I would be called consistently and he was a mess and I needed to go out there to bath and change him because no one there seemed able to do it. The other thing that was frustrating was that he was exhibiting a combative behavior and no one, not the director nor the head of nursing, could tell me what to do. I had to go to other places to get information. I don't see how they could say they were a memory care when they don't know enough about it.

If your relative is ambulatory and can talk then this place is great. Otherwise, they don't help them to eat because their motto is "we don't force them to do anything" (which the nurse Teri repeats quite often) as well as other nurses and staff. Guess where this leAVES your relative? Hungry. administration will sell you a line of empty promises that sound like great care, but between their lack of communication and all out chaios, your relative is the one to suffer. Aides work in fear of getting written up, meanwhile administration could benefit from new management.if you mail flowers or gifts good luck if your relative gets it. I've sent flowers and although staff said they were in the bedroom, in fact they were at the nurses station for their enjoyment. Fruit is left in relative bedroom to be found removed later on despite staff says it can be left in room. Staff schedules dr visits but then doesnt ensure they are ready when time to go. Relative gets upset, but staff calls them combative.
