I visited Good Life of Mount Pleasant. It was clean, and I didn't see any maintenance issues. It was in the middle of COVID, so they had a lot of cleansers and sanitizers and that sort of stuff. I don't know how many rooms they have, but it's fairly a medium-sized facility. They probably have seating for 20 in their kitchen or their dining hall. They have a living room and a fireplace, they're all in the same room. They have a kitchen right off the dining room. I think they have a small office up front, and they have a public restroom for guests. I think each resident has a shared or a private room there. So, the ones that came out to church were active. Then we had people take the sacrament to the ones that couldn't come out, to the people in their rooms. The staff pretty much continued doing either cooking or delivering medicine, or whatever they were doing. They were mostly in the kitchen, and the kitchen is open to the dining room, so we could see them. We said hi to them, they seemed pleasant enough, but they didn't participate because they were busy. They have a living room, and they have some outdoor spaces where people can go outside. They used their living room there. They have a couple of sofas and a fireplace, and they use that as their chapel on Sunday. The dining area seats about 20 people, around maybe five tables; it seems to be enough room. They had an activities counter, they had bingo and stuff like that. In the living room, they have board games that you can take out and play.

Country Lane Assisted Living Mount Pleasant is a small group home of about 18 residents. They provide meals, basic medical evaluations, and prescription care. The staff members seem competent, attentive, and friendly. My mother seems to like the food.

It was a difficult decision to put our mom in assisted living, for her and for us, she's been so independent. However, she has come to feel very at home at Autumn Park and speaks to us frequently about the kind, thoughtful assistance she receives. The people there are all so nice. The activities are clever and engaging and designed to let residents get to know each other and socialize a little, and she's come to quite enjoy them. She also likes the library book choices and appreciates the church service there every Sunday. We're so happy Autumn Park is there. We feel she is in excellent, caring hands there.

I have had several elderly friends that have in the past lived at Autumn Park. I truely believe this is a great option when they cannot stay in their own home. The facility is very clean, the rooms are larger than I have seen in other places. I think my friends really loved the activity program. I also like they have an RN there on daily basis unlike other facilities in our area.

This is a nice facility, small and intimate where the staff can really get to know the residents. What I like most about this facility is the area around the facility. It is a nice open, spread out town with plenty of sidewalks and trails for walking. The residents can really meander around and explore the neighborhood. There are even parks not far away. This facility and the town has that small town feel to it, where you know everyone by name. Some of the residents have lived here all their lives and if they can't live in their own home, this is the next best thing. I think it's an excellent facility and town in which to spend your later years. It's a very tight community.
