Tudor Oaks Senior Living Community was very nice. They had very nice facilities. It was upgraded and secured with modern amenities. They had a swimming pool, a fitness room, a theater, an outdoor area, a barbecue area, and grills. The staff members were very well informed and took the time with us. They had adequate things to do.

We are on a waiting list at Tudor Oaks Senior Living Community. Some of the retirement homes do not have advanced care and they're not certified for advanced care, but Tudor Oaks has all levels of care. I liked the layout of the rooms and the services provided. The social services, and physical therapy services, all of that was very helpful. They would provide church services. I saw the library, the eating area, the restaurant area, and the entertainment area where they have movies and speakers come in. There was an outside gazebo area where they had live music in the summer. They had outdoor patios, which were very, very nice. The place was kept very, very clean. The staff was cheerful, and helpful, and wanted to express how happy they were.

The grounds of the facility are beautiful. The exercise facility and pool are great features. However, these are a poor substitute for insufficient skilled staff. Assisted living and memory care residents don't use the exercise facility and pool, but they do deserve skilled care provided by licensed/credentialed employees. Lots of pool staff and employee turnover. Little communication among staff. Nearly impossible to receive information from staff. Phone calls and written requests go unanswered. Less landscaping and more emphasis on providing care for residents inside the buildings is essential.

My in-laws have been placed in Tudor Oaks. It's a really, really nice place. They have great outdoor areas. The staff is very caring and very attentive. They check on them every mealtime to see whether they're going, and they check on them at night. They're just very caring. They reported that the food there is excellent. They're very happy there. They have a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. It's a decent size and very nice. They have a variety of rooms; some are bigger than others. They have a swimming pool and a therapy gym. They have activities like crossword puzzles, bingo, and happy hour every Friday. It's nice because it has all levels of care there. They've got skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, and memory care. No matter what you need, it's there. One of my in-laws is in skilled nursing and one is level 1 (assisted living). It's a big advantage because there's very few that offer the full continuum of care. The care there has been impeccable. The most important thing is the care that they're getting and the meals. Every time we go there, they say. "We love the food." I'd recommend it to anybody. It's a good place.

Tudor Oaks Senior Living Community just felt like a facility. It's a large one compared to other places, and it's just not a good place for Mom. I don't think they have enough staffing. They don't have enough staffing, and people need help, and they're not getting it. The residents seemed good and OK, they seemed kind of happy. It was the overall feeling that I didn't care for, but the facility is nice. It feels more like a facility and not like a home. They have activities.

My mother was in rehab at Tudor Oaks Senior Living. She loved it. She said the food was really good, and that's one of the important things to my mother. They brought her snacks, and the therapy was there every day working with her. I was there when they did an evaluation, when they thought she could go home, and they were very thorough with that. They did very well there.

My aunt is at Tudor Oaks. My mother-in-law lived there as well, so I was familiar with it. I felt that it would be the best place for her of all the places I looked at. We liked their nursing staff and how they were staffed. She would not have to leave this facility. She could term out within her lifespan because they have all levels of skilled nursing care there. I don't have anything negative to say about the facility. The staff is caring, inviting, positive, and very supportive. It's clean and homey.

Tudor Oaks Senior Living Community felt very impersonal and huge. It came across as like a hospital almost, kind of more like a machine rather than a place to put someone when you want them to meet some friendly and nice people. It had so many activities that you could do that it was mind-boggling, like swimming. There were outside things you could do like biking, and they have equipment rooms of all different types. The price was way high too and my mom couldn't use any of the amenities, so she didn't need that place. Their rooms looked fine; they were typical and small. All of the rooms have a dresser, a stand, a bed, and some closet space, also a bathroom for the most part; they're not apartments. The only person we met was the lady who took us around; she was very personable and professional. In terms of the building itself, it looked like everything was up to standard and new.

Staff are absent quit often and neglect to set email or voicemail when they are out of the facility for long periods of time. Extremely difficult to contact director of support services to discuss residents care. I was not notified when my father whom I had power of health for fell two days before he died. I received an apology for not informing me and was assure that they would bring it up at a staff meeting. I would not put my dog in their care.

This facility looks great inside and outside but the money is spent on the facility not on hiring and retaining quality employees. Staff seems frustrated and verbalizes that they are "shorthanded" on many occasions. It is very difficult when you have POAH for a resident to get a prompt accurate response.

I am a family member of a resident at Tudor oaks memory care. The care my grandmother received was good but I warn people who are looking to place loved ones with memory issues. This facility accepted my grandmother with mid to late memory issues and when funding for her care diminished she has been asked to move to the "skilled nursing facility" or the nursing home based off a numbering system stating she had declined. My family and I tried to defer her placement change and met with the director and case manager. The vibe was cold and the director of the memory care was extremely condescending and her mind was made up. She didn't care to listen to our concerns about ripping my grandmother from her environment. The nursing home is very cold and "hospital like". My grandmother also contracted multiply urinary tract infections and fall injuries which with no doubt advanced her confusion at times. We are now having to look for another facility after Tudir Oaks drained majority of her funds. This facility takes advantage of elderly and their funds. Please consider if your family member is advancing with memory care issues this facility can not handle memory care patients who are moderate to advanced. They will drain the funds and when convenient will move your loved one to the nursing home portion to eat up the rest of your family members money.

Tudor Oaks is an assisted living home in Muskego, WI where my grandma lived for about ten years. When I visited the facility, I was generally happy with what I saw; the tenants were very happy with the service and the amenities where replete with options. The facility itself is very nicely kept, seems consistently clean and tidy. Furthermore, there are many options for recreation, including game rooms, living rooms, churches, and a relatively nice outdoor environment to walk around. The rooms themselves are nicely kept, frequently tended to by staffers and cleaning staff, and seem spacious enough for the number of residents in each room. Generally speaking, this was an assisted living home which proved a worthwhile home for my relatives. My one complaint is the strange layout of the building, which did not allow for easy transportation through the building.
