I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother is now at Spring House at Lithia Springs. The biggest reason why we chose this place was the cost. It seemed very reasonable for what looked like a very nice-sized room with a bathroom. The facilities looked nice, and the food and the service seemed top-notch. They have different activities that are included in the price, so I like that. I haven't tried the food, but my brother speaks highly of it. They have painting classes, water aerobics at a local pool, they have Bible studies, they have the usual bingo, and movie nights, and some animals come in to visit. It seems that the staff is very caring and sincere.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother moved into Spring House at Lithia Springs last November. She's very happy there. Everything is newly renovated. It's very nice, it's clean, it's bright. The people there are happy. She likes it. She's got someone to talk to all the time. Any time she walks out of her room, there are always people there. They serve three meals a day and she's happy that she can socialize with people. The staff is extremely nice. We sat with her while she had her meal. What they were serving was very nice, but sometimes it was a little spicy, or a little hard to chew, but she's 95. It seems like the food is fine, it's ok. They play some games, there could be more, but the most important thing is that she comes out of her room three or four times a day. She walks the halls, she talks to people, and that's the important part because where she was before this was no good at all. Everything is new, nothing is depressing about it, but they could add a few more activities for the people.

I visited this facility

We did a tour of Spring House at Lithia Springs. I like the friendliness of the staff. It was very accommodating for senior living. The facility was clean. I like the daily activities with the residents and the fact that it felt like home. They provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All through the day, they can come down and drink, or eat fruit, or whatever was already out when the kitchen was closed. I like the space; I think that's adequate space for living, for the residents. It was clean from what we saw, and it felt comfortable and safe. You've got to be mobile and do everything on your own. The staff was very accommodating, very helpful, answered all the questions. He was approachable, very nice, and knew his job. He had a background associated with dealing with elderly people. I didn't try to food, but it smelled good. They have a board out there that will tell you what's going to be for lunch and dinner. The smell was good, I saw that they serve the residents, they take a seat, and they bring out the drinks, and then they bring the food out. In the facility, there was one that we went into that I don't know if it was mold in there or not, but it was something in there in the tub, black or whatever. I guess they hadn't been in there because he did mention that before he came down. They said they were working to fill all the rooms up. So, it may have been something that they hadn't gotten around to. But, other than that, it was clean. The rooms, some of them had a balcony, and that made the room smaller. So, the ones that didn't have a balcony, the rooms were larger. Then they do have a walking trail, like if you have a dog or a pet that you want to walk. They have a courtyard in the back where they have tables and chairs out there. It's not big. They have a place with a TV, and he did say that they have functions, that they like barbecue in the summer and stuff like that. They do activities with them. They have a big room in there where they get a whole lot of games and stuff. On Wednesdays, they have a wind-down, where they allow them to have something to drink if they want or whatever. Some couples are in there as well. It was closer to my house. That's probably with no traffic, five minutes and no more than eight minutes from my house, and I liked it. The thing about it is, other people were visiting, while I'm waiting to be seen. I've been there maybe two or three times because I went there first with my sister and then I wanted to bring my daddy there. Then I went there to follow up on some things since my dad was not able to move in. Everybody that I heard come out of there will say, "Oh, I'll be back" meaning that that's where they're going to come back and live. The residents, welcome you. The room that we were looking at next to my dad's room, was like three women coming out of the other ladies' room who had just moved in there. So, they create friends and make you feel comfortable. Everybody seems like they are happy there. I even asked some of the residents, even while I was waiting. I looked around on the first floor in the courtyard, and in the little room. They got a larger room there, which is nice. I asked some residents if they finished eating breakfast, and how they like it there. The few people that I talked to, loved it there and they say yes. My feelings for the place, I always get something positive there. I don't know anybody there, not even the people who I talked to; I've never met them a day in my life. The monthly price or monthly rent, or whatever you want to call it, is more reasonable than I've seen anywhere else. He said the price was going to be going up in 2022, this year. I don't know about how much, but the price was very reasonable. You get a breakfast, lunch, dinner and entertainment. Then they take you to doctor's appointments and stuff like that if it is within a radius.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I found Spring House at Lithia Springs. I am very, very pleased with this community. We are in a single building. We have a private room with locks on the doors and everything. It's really nice. I have double windows, blinds, and a beautiful view of trees and flowers and shrubs. We have chefs in the kitchen that do our food. We get three meals a day, plus snacks and drinks any time (lemonade, tea, cranberry juice, orange juice). Snacks are available almost 24 hours a day. Everything is included with our rent, other than our personal telephone. They are all very helpful. They are all very friendly. The wait staff is just wonderful. The staff is always trying to get us to do more. They keep us busy all the time. Everyone here is extremely friendly, and I couldn't be more pleased. I've been here for two months now, and it is just wonderful. The food is excellent and better than most restaurants; it is unbelievably good food. It's almost like a real fancy hotel. We have elevators. We are just three floors, but we have elevators and stairways. We have a kitchenette, a microwave, and a huge big refrigerator to keep our snacks and stuff that we want to put in here. It's like a luxury hotel. It really is. That is what it feels like. We have bingo every day, and we win bingo bucks (which they furnish). Once a week we have a bingo store, where we go in and buy stuff with our bingo bucks. The Spring House furnishes the money for the activities directors to go and buy what we're going to be buying with our bingo bucks. It's always very nice stuff. It is things we can decorate the room with, things we can decorate the door, seasonal things, or things that most everyone's gonna need (like toothpaste, hand lotions, creams, or fingernail polish for the women). They give away things like coffee cups or tall drink cups. We do what they call the silver sneakers. We walk and climb the stairs. We always do some stairs in our walking. We do outside walking a lot when it's pretty. We have a garden outside that we can go and work in two to three days a week. They have the garden ready to go work in (if we choose; we don't have to). We have painting. We have canvases and acrylic paint. There's a lot of different types of activities. We have a reading club. This is a very, very affordable place to live. This includes everything: the internet, food, and housekeeping. There's nothing we have to pay for.

I visited this facility

Spring House at Lithia Springs was nice and quaint. It's a converted hotel, so the rooms were small, and I was looking for a place with two separate bedrooms. Also, there's no stove in the room, so you can't cook if you choose to. They have a chef that cooks all the meals for them. They have their small activity room and there's a bus that would take them to Walmart or some appointments. The place seemed to be pretty clean and well-maintained, and the staff seemed pretty nice too.

My mom is at Spring House at Lithia Springs, and I like the people there. It is clean, and it's perfect for our needs. Everything is new, nice, and very convenient for us. I don't think it's full yet, so people are stil coming in. They have a dining area and a room for card games. The food looks good too, but I haven't tried it yet. It's affordable, and I think it's worth our money.

As a disabled Military Veteran, I am thoroughly pleased with my stay here at Spring House. Its an amazing place to settle and call home. Its super clean and that's a bonus with our current crisis here in 2021. There are literally no worries. They have it all covered! Three homemade meals, fresh coffee, and tea throughout the day. They even include transportation. The icing on the cake for me would be the friendly, helpful staff. Starting with the GM(Mr. Williams) is very hands on and involved with us residents. Its like the family most of us don't or in my case, never had..

Spring House at Lithia Springs was beautiful, I loved it, and it was everything I wanted. The only downfall was the application, and what I mean by that is they safeguard the application, so the application is not accessible. If you have a disability, it won't leave the premises, and you have to apply in person. That was the only downfall. So by me being legally blind, it was hard. I needed someone to read everything for me by a person that's not affiliated with the facility, so I couldn't do that, and that's why I won't be going there. They have a lot of scheduled activities, they have a chef on the premises, and you get three square meals. The facility is the right size for someone who doesn't want a lot of space. The size of the efficiency studio apartment, with my vision being the way it is, that's perfect for me because the less space I have, the better off I am. Everybody was nice. I do have some vision, and they gave me that hospitable hotel feeling. The lobby was clean and bright, and it was nice. I fell in love with it. I really would have moved there, but it's just a problem with the application terms; it shouldn't be that hard.

We toured Spring House at Lithia Springs for my brother, and the tour was great. They were very nice and patient. They gave us many different options. They also tried to accommodate us as far as the cost. What I liked about them was that they offer three meals a day. It's by choice. You can choose what you would like to eat, as long as you just notify them a little bit ahead of time; that was really great. They were also saying that they are working on opening a fitness room as well, which I think is great to have. The dining area is just an open area that's available. It is spacious for anyone to come in to eat their meals. It's a nice space. The rooms are kind of an extended stay hotel suite. They have a kitchenette in there. I was disappointed with that because the only thing they have is a full-sized refrigerator, which is wonderful. There is some cabinet space, but they only have a small microwave. I guess it's because they offer meals. They did say they offer activities as well. I believe they also had a garden, which was really nice. A garden where the residents could help themselves to some produce, which is really nice. I think they can also do gardening if they want to join in. The cost is kind of high, and I don't think the rooms are as well done as I would have liked them to be.

I went to Spring House at Lithia Springs. I didn't like the fact that I wouldn't have my own kitchen. There was no stove or anything. It's like a big studio apartment, and the patio was really tight -- you couldn't put a chair out there to sit or relax. There's a bathroom, but nowhere else to go in the apartment. For the amount of money they want for that. I know it's one big room, but there's no place to go in the apartment other than to the bathroom -- and not even a kitchen. Sometimes, I like to cook my own food. You have to go downstairs and eat whatever they serve there. The staff who gave me the tour was OK. The dining area was like going into a restaurant, and there were tables and chairs spaced out. They have a playroom where you can play cards, bingo, and Pokeno. I'm almost a senior, but younger, and there's not very much, to me, that you could do there. The playroom was small, and with COVID, you had to scatter out, and there's not much space.

My overall visit at Spring House at Lithia Springs was great. The people were friendly. I think it's a good facility. They have a little game area for entertainment, and a courtyard for relaxing. It is nice. They also provide assistance in getting to doctor's visits and stuff like that, which I think is ideal for them.

Spring House at Lithia Springs looked like an old Marriot hotel; I didn't like it. They showed me a couple of units that were unfurnished, and they were not spotlessly clean. The staff member was really nice and she was helpful. I I had lunch there. It was a really good lunch.
