Friendship Village Sunset Hills is really nice. It's just too big for what we're looking for. But I felt really good about them. I felt like they had a lot of staff. I was really pleased to see so many people floating around. They seemed to know the clients' names, the people they were taking care of. There were things that they said they had available to the clients that I actually saw that they were available, which I thought was good. The fact that you could go from independent to assisted to skilled nursing there. We just didn't like that you had to go to separate buildings for that. That would be a challenge for my aunt to get there to see my dad if he were to start off in that. Their prices were higher than what we wanted to spend. However, it would have been pretty much all inclusive. It looked like they had everything we needed.

Everything about Friendship Village Sunset Hills was excellent. It's very clean and very well-kept. The towels, sheets, blankets, all that stuff were all cleaned and laundered. I had a friend staying there and when I visited her, it was very nice. She had a little apartment for herself. She had a little fridge, a stove, and her own bathroom. She liked it. She said the staff was very nurturing and exhibited a high level of genuine care. The food service was also really pretty good. She had her own microwave and refrigerator, so she would just cook her own meals sometimes. They also stay very active. She said there's always something to do, like card games or entertainment or go to a restaurant or shopping with others. They have a beauty salon, an exercise room, and a physical therapist that works with them. So, it was great.

I did a tour of Friendship Village Sunset Hills. We just went into the building and saw one apartment. It was very clean. Everything was well maintained. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He described their facility and program very well. He answered all the questions that we had. It's just all-around good.

I went to Friendship Village twice. I liked them, but they would not work with me. They're kind of hardnosed people. They don't budge on you. I talked to the staff, and they weren't very accommodating. They would not work with you. It was either you have the money or you don't, so I didn't care for that. It's an absolutely beautiful place. It was my number one choice until they wouldn't work with me. They wouldn't do anything, and they had a flippant attitude. Their attitude was take it or leave it.

We visited Friendship Village Sunset Hills for my mom. Everything was excellent. They had a chapel, a library, and restaurant style dining. The price proves all of that because it is a little high. The person who toured me was wonderful. The rooms and the dining area were very clean and nice. They had a kitchen area where their residents get to cook and do different things. They bake cookies, make shakes, malts, ice creams, or sundaes. They also do crafts. When I did the tour, they were very accommodating.

I have visited Friendship Village Sunset Hills, and they have the largest floor plan among the places we've looked at. The rooms were very good, but they're going to begin construction right outside of the window of the apartment we'll be staying in. They have all of the amenities, you name it and they have it. They run a shuttle through the campus so you can go to the clubhouse, pool, or wherever. They have all the activities you could want, and pretty much anything you need except for a choir. My mother-in-law was there for a couple of years and I know that they do a good job. They have a restaurant-type service for the meals, but I don't eat anything with feathers and most places serve chicken at least once a day. I was very appreciative that they have about five entrees, so that was nice.

My mother currently lives at Friendship Village Sunset Hills. It is close to my home. They were very personable and not too pushy in their sales. They worked with me as I am my mother's power of attorney. My mother lives in the older section. They're very friendly and it's a faith-based community, which is extremely important with me. It's a community of loving people. They have all kinds of activities like exercise, travel and games. They have beautiful party rooms where you and your family can have parties. Everybody takes care of everybody else. If someone needs something, it's done. They also have great food.

Friendship Village Sunset Hills was a very friendly place. They had many options available, and it was continuous care throughout the rest of your life. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds were nice and the location was fine. The apartments were adequate. The food was good.

Friendship Village Sunset Hills was a beautiful place. They showed us two-bedroom with a den and one-bedroom with a den. The rooms were very nice. They have a person who will take you to your doctor's appointment, and they have a doctor who comes into the place. Housekeeping and linen laundry are also part of the package. The staff was very informative and really wanting people to come back for a private meeting.

We didn't have an appointment at Friendship Village Sunset Hills. However, one of the nurses took us around, which was very nice. The place looked clean, but you can tell it was an older community. It wasn't as bright and cheery as some of the newer ones. However, everybody appeared to be very happy and well cared for. They're very nice and friendly. We saw a room that had just been vacated. It was very small, older, and didn't have some of the nicer things.

Friendship Village Sunset Hills was very nice. I met the woman who walked us around, but I did not see anybody else. The rooms were newly remodeled. They have a salon, a pool, a library, and a movie theater. The dining area was more like a restaurant than a cafeteria, so there's more choices. They had church, bingo, outings, schedules to go to movies and shopping, and they had doctors on-site.

I like Friendship Village. They have nice rooms. They have different restaurants in the building, so you can go to any restaurants for your meal. They have rooms and cottages. The facility was very nice.

My husband’s sister was the one who found it. Every person there is very nice. Physically, it’s a wonderful physical building and they are providing the level of care that they need and very conveniently located for all of their children. They have all levels of care, they’re on a locked memory unit. They have a 1-bedroom apartment.
