Member since August 05, 2014I manage the affairs of my brother, who has severe dementia. He resides in a memory care unit and fortunately it is of high quality and he is well cared for there.
A senior care provider highly experienced oversees his care, which is a great help for a layman as I am.
Hospice is now coordinating and overseeing his care now that things have progressed toward end stage.
Because I know this life is but a beginning on a never ending journey, I have no issues with dying. We'll see one another again.
My emotional attachment ceased when I recognized he no longer resides in the remnant of his body. My brother is already passed on, asleep awaiting restoration of his soul to a new body and mind. Nice.
