I visited this facility

I liked how Spring Arbor Cottage of Richmond was very intimate. There were 3 separate houses. The staff who gave us the tour was excellent and very knowledgeable. The outdoor areas were very lovely.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother is now living in Spring Arbor Cottage of Richmond. It's individual closed cottages with only like 10-12 people per cottage. The place is very clean and very secure. She is in memory care. It looks pretty well-equipped. Each of them have their own private room with a private bathroom. She has some of her personal furniture in there, so that made her happier. There are a lot of personal touches added to it. So far, I haven't met any nurses that I had any objections to. I tasted the food, and it seems fine to me. The staff seems very alert and intelligent. They seem to do their jobs well. I just sometimes think they may need more people than they have. The people that are there do a very good job. I've always thought that the cost was way too high, but compared to the other places, I would say that value for money is above average.
