The rooms are very nice and large enough for any bedroom furniture and also a TV and small fridge. They all have a window, which I think is important. And of course they are warm in winter and cool in summer. The staff is wonderful. They all new my mother by name, her likes and dislikes and were very kind to her and her family. They are also very attentive to the needs of the resident and family. They took time to ask about any pictures or visitors she may have had. My mother wouldn't participate in any activities. She never liked anything organized, but there are bingo, exercise, praying the rosary and a very nice community TV room. I'm sure there were other activities, but since she wasn't interested, we didn't know of them. They also offer trips for ice cream in the summer. There is a nice large dining room that may be reserved by family for birthdays or any other reason. The food is great. There is always more than one choice for each meal. They also made a note of what my mother liked and didn't like. My mother wasn't a picky eater, so we didn't have to worry about that. We chose to have her clothes laundered there and they were always clean without mix-ups. I highly recommend Cambridge Village.

Cambridge Village was OK. It wasn't what I expected. It just didn't feel right to me. The rooms were OK. It could use some carpets cleaned; but other than that, it's not too bad. The staff who gave us a tour was a nice lady. She knew what she was doing. We took a tour of their room, dining room, hallways, and courtyard. The dining area was OK; it wasn't really fancy. They had a very nice courtyard.

Both of my parents resided at Cambridge before the recent passing of my Dad. The entire staff showed such love and compassion to my Mom and our family at the time of our loss. The residents receive wonderful care and this is evident by how much my Mom feels at home at Cambridge. The rooms are very nice with an extra large bathroom, allowing plenty of room for a walker or wheelchair. I’ve been invited to eat and enjoyed the food very much in addition to hearing my Mom speak about the delicious options. There is a calendar with a wide variety of in-house activities and music, and there are also outings that keep the residents happy and active. The personal engagement the aides, nurses, and the entire staff take with each of the residents, goes a long way in making each person feel secure and treasured. The staff is always receptive to any questions we may have and are great at preventative care. Knowing those we love so dearly, are well taken care of, gives us a great piece of mind.

This facility is very clean, pretty and well maintained. The staff is amazing from the assistant director to the maintenance people. They do everything they can to assist and care for the residents. It is very well organized and has a nice variety of activities for the residents. All of the staff know the residents by name and greet them personally as they pass by. I couldn't be more pleased with Cambridge Village. My 89 year old sister-in-law and her 59 year old handicapped son are both in this facility and are happy there. Cambridge Village is the answer to my prayers.

We are considering this facility when my mother in-law is done with her 2-week extension for rehab. My mother is currently a resident of Cambridge and I've been there a lot of times. The place is clean and the staff is very helpful. My mom got a private room and she seems to be doing very well there. Her room may not be very large but it's large enough. She has a little 2 seat dinette in there and also her refrigerator and TV. She 's been there for 2 years. She joins in to the activities and they routinely check on her. The staff is very good to her and she feels very comfortable with them. My mother has dementia and I really think that she is happy living in Elmcroft. So I think that if we get this place for my mother in-law, I'm sure she'd be happy here too.
