I'm at Overture Albuquerque 55+ Apartment Homes. It was newly built. It smelled better than the other places. They have activities all day for whoever wants to participate. They don't serve food, but it was the cleanest, best place that I could find. It's 55 plus and you can go to the pool at any point in time and enjoy yourself. They have water aerobics, mat aerobics, and chair aerobics. The staff is awesome. We have at least two members that are on the floor at all times and maintenance is awesome as well. I would recommend it to anyone that might be looking for a place. I have a one-bedroom. It's very comfortable and you're free to move around as much as you want. I did bring my own furniture. It's not fully furnished, but there's a balcony where I've been planting flowers and stuff. It's a very nice place. They want to help you as much as they can. For being 55 plus, they generally don't let children in until like 3 or something into the pool area. It's got a hot tub. Every day, something is going on. It's four stories. I'm on the first floor, so I'm right by all the elevators. I have to cook my own food, which is not a problem. They serve food on Thursdays. I pay a lot of money per month to live here, but you can go out, you play pool, you can do this, you can do that. I think the activities and everything make up for it.
