I went to Pine Valley Retirement. I liked that place, so that was one of my choices. The prices were good. It's a nice facility. They had different styles of apartments and rooms. They explained everything very well. They had a lot of different options based on what the resident likes or hobbies. They don't have memory care, but they have a service that will come in and a lot of great resources to take care of the needs as they change. It's a beautiful place. It's well-lit. They had a board with all the activities, the recreation, the outings, and the menus. The layout was nice. For the price, it was very reasonable. The rooms were beautiful. They had a newer wing and they had more like stainless steel appliances. They had some rooms with a patio, so I liked it because my mother does a little gardening on a porch and that kind of thing. The staff was very helpful, friendly, very well versed on what they had to offer, and very knowledgeable. It was great. I didn't try a meal, but they had snacks and coffee. I met the everyday person and the executive director. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept, they have trees and walkways. I love it.

My Mother has been at Pine Valley Independent Living for almost 2 months. Being a RN, I am quite picky. I have not found anything negative with Pine Valley. My Mother is so happy and I know she is receiving excellent care which is a peace of mind. So, thank you Pine Valley for the excellent care you provide to those that have come to a place in life where changes need to be made. Peace is worth more than anything to me when it comes to those we love. Blessings to all of you, Joy Willett.
