At that time I couldn't get up and walk, so they were absolutely necessary. I didn't find out until just before we quit using them, that they're not supposed to be just sitting there entertaining themselves on their phone. I had one who was on her phone. There was one who complained about doing the dishes, and she only did mine and not my daughter's. I asked if she would do the dishes and she waited until minutes before she had to leave and she was here eight minutes extra and they charged me overtime. However, they have some women on there that I absolutely love and were great.

Our father passed away last year after several years In decline with Alzheimers. He received daily care from the caregivers of Visiting Angels. They were a blessing to us. Since his passing, mother's health began to decline and we, again, relied on Visiting Angels to keep her in their home and healthy. Mom has made amazing progress with the help of the Angels. They even got her set up on Facebook so she can see her grandchildren and children and keep up daily with all of us. We live out of state and Mom does not want to leave her home in Choctaw EVER! With the help of Visiting Angels of SE OKC and the compassionate caregivers that have been taking care of Mom, we have peace of mind knowing she is being looked after and well taken care of. We get reports from the staff on any issues that the caregivers may notice so it is almost like we are with her! They are a superb agency and we recommend them highly.

Words are insufficient to say how much your "angels", Lisa and Shelly, mean to our family. They are so loving and kind and provide womderful care to our Dad. Their willingness to interact with him, assist him and allow him to maintain his independence and dignity through a very rough time for him physically has been a blessing. My sister and I are unable to be there all the time and Dad has told us many times that because of his "angels," he doesn't miss us as much. She has been slowing going through the stages of the disease, and the caregivers have adapted the care to meet her changing needs.
