Q
An anonymous caregiver asked...
My dear Mother (who i cared for until last year and is now in a NH) is not eating or drinking much after 8 years of COPD and dementia, I am so sad and can't stop crying as I watch her wither away, how long before she can't live without eating or drinking? Hospice is now involved and I fear she will be gone this week?? Grieving daughter

Positive imagination on your part, your families part, your friends part, and even your mothers part. If I am too late in this response, then this will even help in your recovery process...which you will get through. Believing that everything is at peace and or IS ok, not just will be ok, is the best way to get through this process whether your mother is still sick, recovered, or moved on.
