My mother is in Edgewood Summit. I like that community because it provided all forms of care. It has assisted living, memory care, and a skilled nursing facility as well. It's all right there. They have two levels of care above assisted living, and she's at the highest level of care. The quality of the food is excellent and they have a lot of different choices. They always have soup and different choices of salad. They always have protein or a main course, vegetables, and potatoes and you choose your type of potato. You choose everything. They have desserts and it's very good. I've eaten there a couple of times. We had a family dinner there and we had the fillet and it was excellent. They have an exercise class every morning. They have Sittercise, a cardio drum, and several different exercise classes. They had crafts, bingo, they have people come, musicians, and had a Kentucky Derby party and they all decorated hats for the Kentucky Derby. She also gets some cognitive therapy and some physical therapy and some occupational therapy privately. The staff is fabulous. They also do cornhole every day and they have singalongs and things like that. They have a church. They have a lot of different things going on. It is expensive.

I am living in a retirement home called The Edgewood Summit. Right now, it's atypical due to the COVID virus, but they are supportive and very helpful here. They have 24-hour nursing and a physician available. The staff is very friendly, they're very cooperative, very helpful, and I really don't have anything bad to say about them. They have activities all the time. They also have movies and educational programs. They're very neat and very cooperative. If you have any problems, they come and take care of it right away. The community is close to the mall and Edgewood Country Club.

My experience with Edgewood Summit was good. It's very clean, except that they allow people to smoke. The food is fair, and the staff is excellent. There's a salon, exercise room, and activities, like bingo, corn hole, golf putting, dances, and so on.

The rooms at Edgewood Summit were nice and very clean. Their bathrooms were very safe. They had a lot more facilities, i.e., they had a spa for the residents. However, their price was about double in comparison with the other facility. The place was very clean. It was a little bit too fancy for my aunt's taste. She felt like she would be out of place there. However, their customer service was not that great because they really didn't contact me a whole lot about the tour.

We went to Edgewood Summit and visited with some people. I was just visiting with some residents up there and was up there for dinner, and then afterwards we played some cards. The food was wonderful. They do buffet as well as individual serving. What I can rate a four was the dinner, and the dinner was terrific.
