We went to Blossom Valley. My mom already put a deposit down on one of the rooms. What we got was a super studio, so we got the bigger studio. Everybody came up to my mom and asked her name, and they told her their name and the residents' names. Rhonda, the head lady, is awesome. Everybody was nice there and my mom enjoyed it. She felt more homey there, like it wasn't a depressing place. What I don't like is the parking. There's a little bit of parking, but you kind of get lost on the little path to get to the front door because you got bushes and stuff. It's just my mom was kind of confused about it. It's homey. Everybody is nice and they tell you everything in detail. They show you every room. We went into rooms where people lived. They were informative. The staff was awesome. The activities are awesome and everybody is not left behind. They pull everybody out to do stuff. They've got a lot of older furniture.

My mother has been in Blossom Valley for two weeks now. The caretakers are all friendly and are all valuable assets to the assisted living facility. The check-in was simple. Once we got all the paperwork squared away, it was pretty smooth going. The building itself is very well-kept. The maintenance man is very friendly. He and I worked together putting an electric bed into my mom's place. The exterior of the building is great. It has a nice portico in the entryway. They use the lounge area in the front of the building for lots of activities. It's a very nice place. I don't see a lot of trash on the floors. It is painted well, it's well decorated, and everything is clean. The sidewalks are shoveled. There are lots of different things that are positive about Blossom Valley. It seems like they have something going on several times a day. They have games at a big table, and they have people come in and do karaoke so that they can sit there. My mother plays the piano, so she is wheeled out into that lobby out there to play the piano for the patrons, and they enjoy that. She gets an opportunity to continue to stretch her wings a little bit and become involved in the community. They have book readings, and they have a separate room for arts and crafts. The dining room is great. It's wide open and pleasant. I don't have any issues at all.

The staff at Blossom Valley have been there for a long time. It's a newer facility. The staff was very positive, upbeat, experienced, and interacted extremely well with patients. There was a high level of personal involvement. They had a soda fountain. They had a small little garden outside and not a lot of outdoor facilities. They had a gathering area, a dining room, and a hairstyling salon. The person who took me on the tour was the lead administrator. They made it a point that the staff members are cross-trained. They don't make distinctions between staff members based on the job description. They don't turn away from a resident because it's not their job, which I found unique.

The menu is abysmal. My grandmother is living here and she is in her 90s, and since Covid has felt more in prison there than in any "community" worth paying for. Today, she is wasting away at that awful place and food is often inedible. She still has her faculties about her and her taste buds are functional. I hope to get her out of there as soon as humanly possible. #verydissatisfied

If your elderly person likes to engage in activities and socialize this facility and their other facility Blossom Creek Memory Care are nice for Wenatchee. It is a medium sized facility. It is not the fanciest of facilities but it is far from the worst, there is a warm and comfortable environment with and no bad odors. Expensive but aren't they all, I pay just over 4000 a month out of pocket for my grandmothers room and care level 1. Staff is responsive and caring. Remember these are assisted living NOT nursing homes.

We visited Blossom Valley and it was lovely. The staff member was very informative, she knew what she was talking about, and she she shared her experiences with us. We were confident that they could manage Mom's care.

My son is at Blossom Valley for a couple of years now. The place had a very good spirit about it. It seemed like a happy place compared to some of the others we looked at. The staff has a very good attitude and upbeat. The food looks good, but we were not able to eat there. They have a good menu. They have all kinds of activities. One of the things I like is they have a table with puzzles so anytime they can work on that. They have an ice cream parlor. Overall, it’s a very good place.

Everyone I met at Blossom Valley were very friendly. They have a very, very low turnover rate, which means the people like to work there. I checked out the rooms, the cafeteria areas, as well as the recreation areas. The rooms were all really nice. We looked at one bedroom and studio apartments. The place was well-maintained and the people were excellent. It is close to where my stepmother lives, so she is familiar with everything. They have standard activities like bingo and movies.
