Affinity at Covington

My aunt moved into Affinity at Covington. We chose it because it's close to us. It's a nice place. The people are nice. The staff is very helpful. There's no food. They have activities, parties, all kinds of stuff going on, and bingo. It's a beautiful building. They have a gym, a swimming pool, bar room, coffee/computer room, and a movie room.

What I liked the most about Affinity at Covington was that there's a lot of things that are included, like your utilities, indoor parking, and a lot of different activity rooms. The room layouts that I saw were very attractive. The young lady who showed me around, Stephanie, was very personable and very well-informed. I enjoyed seeing the grounds that were immaculately tended. The few residents I saw on that fairly early morning appeared very happy, while the ones that I talked to were all happy about the management of the property. The only thing was it's a little expensive for a one-bedroom, but I haven't looked at anything in 20 years, so to me everything is expensive, yet it is not out of line. I could probably manage the price. I enjoyed where the property was located. It's very close to shopping and overall, I was highly impressed by both the property and the individuals that I met.

Affinity at Covington was really nice. They had the washer and dryer inside the unit and air-conditioning, and they had lots of activities there. The only thing I didn't like is that when we initially visited Affinity, we didn't get information or paperwork about the place. The lady said, "I didn't think you guys were interested, so I didn't give you paperwork." She showed us around and gave us a tour. As far as giving us paperwork, we would have liked to know the cost so we can make a determination, if we want to do it or not. We didn't get the paperwork initially. We have been there about three or four times. Then eventually, they said they had no more vacancies. It didn't work out. They had a nice garden where people can grow stuff.

Affinity is a great community. I lived in Affinity at Olympia for, four years before moving to Covington Affinity.. I am so blessed to live here for my retirement. I have a great apartment, I have a washer and dryer in my apartment! All utilities are paid in the rent. The staff is great, the people who live here are good neighbors. Our amenities are limited because of Covid-19, but when they are open, there is much to do. Swimming, playing cards, other games. Resident and Affinity sponsored evens, like happy hours. I believe my apartment is large as a one bedroom. It's not just and apartment, it's my home.

My father is in Affinity at Covington. I like the size of the apartment and the amenities that they have. The staff is friendly and responsive. It's close to shopping and all the necessities that he requires. It's clean and well maintained. They don't provide food. It's fully independent. They have activities within the community. The residents develop their own activities, and the staff plans certain things for them like bingo, but nothing major.
