The best qualities of Verena are ingrained in the caring qualities of the staff. We've found that wwe are always noticed, acknowledged, cared for and genuinely feel appreciated. I believe that those qualities of care are infectious and spread to the residents. That makes Verena feel like a community that anyone would want to be a part of and that is why I would recommend this community to people I care about

My apartment is small but very comfortable for my dog Crystal and me. The staff is wonderful and there if I need them. There is a monthly list with activities and programs each day. The food is excellent!

Verena at the Reserve was very nice. I liked the amount of activity, the interaction, and the fact that aside from their planned activities, they have a very active resident group that kind of creates their own activities. The layout was easy to get around. It was very pretty, well furnished, and maintained.

Verena at The Reserve was a very nice place. They were under a remodel, and I believe it is almost done now. I liked their units. The location was good. The staff were very pleasant. It didn't appear to be quite as active and busy as the other ones, but it was very nice. I liked it, and it is still on my list. There are 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. The manager of the property was very polite, very knowledgeable, and very friendly.

The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings. The kitchen and living areas are separated by a large granite topped work place. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen even for all of the stuff I have. Staff is hard working and pleasant. Activities are a good mix of in-house exercise classes , trips to stores and other joy ride excursions on the Community bus. Amenities include a game room, small movie theater, Bingo, work out room with a Ping Pong table, treadmill, recumbent bike and space for Yoga and other workout activities.

Verena at The Reserve was beautiful. Everything was so nice that nothing really stood out. They have everything. They have cafeterias, housekeeping, and a nurse that comes, or comes in every day. The people were really friendly, and the staff was friendly. The gym was really nice that they have. The staff was wonderful, very informative, and very nice. A lot of the apartments have patios, and a lot of them have balconies, and then they have a great big porch area where you can sit and visit.

I have been to Verena at The Reserve many times and I would say it's the best. The community is wonderful, and we were very impressed with the facilities there. If I have to make a choice among the places we have visited, this one would be my choice. They have open houses within the last 3-4 years, and we've made a visit there during those times too. Their rooms were in very nice shape. They completely redo the rooms after people have vacated the place, so you will be walking into a very fresh environment. We saw some of the inhabitants there and they seemed to be satisfied. The dining room looked nice, the recreation facilities, weights room and treadmills all look fine, as well as the library. It was a very nice place. The staff who gave the tour was extremely knowledgeable of the place and very accommodating. They serve 2 meals a day.

We moved my mother into the Verena at The Reserve last week. I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful community for seniors. This place is a true gem. Michelle, the sales director, is top notch. From my initial call through working out all moving details, Michelle has been professional, prompt, caring and kind. Maintenance is on top of things too - quickly removing moving boxes and assisting with hanging shelves and a cabinet. Every employee we have encountered has been genuinely compassionate. There is a beautiful dining hall that serves delicious meals - two a day. The breakfast and lunch selection is terrific. Residents can bring home any extras to enjoy in the evening. They must have an amazing chef - because every meal has been fabulous. The activities are plentiful - which gives the residents the opportunity to stay busy on the hour if they so desire. My mom has already enjoyed a Super Bowl party, bingo and Flex Fit in her first few days. While she has not taken advantage of the transportation services yet, residents can be taken to their doctor on Mondays and Thursdays and other days are trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, Target, etc. All of the residents are welcoming and have made my mom feel like she is at "home". My mother has MS and is in an electric wheelchair. We did a lot of research to find the best solution for her. She can now live independently and have interaction with others that she did not have when she lived alone at home in a "homebound" status. I cannot say enough great things about the Verena. If you are looking for a community for your aging parent, it is truly worth your time to visit the Verena!

This is clean and features 2 professional cooked meals. Well, that's not real true. Breakfast is one hot entree and the rest are cold cereals/breads and fruit, then lunch is serviced 2 hrs later, with only 2 hot entrees to chose from and several sides. No dinner! lots of card games, but not a variety of afternoon programs, a theater of OLD MOVIES and nothing after 4:00 pm. BUT IT"S PRETTY.

We chose Verena at the Reserve for my dad, and he will be moving in next week. It’s a good community and the people are very nice. One of the things that we liked about it is that it provided the card games that my dad was looking for, and that was a big deal for him. Their rooms have full-sized kitchens with washer and dryer. They also offer transportation for the residents.

I chose Verena at The Reserve because the cost was excellent, and it is a beautiful facility. The staff seemed very attentive. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. They have an eating area in their apartment and a dining area in the facility as well. They have a music activity, arts and crafts, and some movies.

Let me first start the review by saying the grounds and facility are very well maintained and exceptionally kept. The staff is beyond friendly as well as the residents. I brought my mother down for a tour and possible overnight stay and by far it exceeded even what I had in my mind for independent living facilities. The variety and options in floor plans to suit a potential residents needs was perfect. The set up and options in terms of their units/apts catered to those who desire certain amenities and those that don't . The activities and options to participate in activities was endless. I myself will not stop bragging about my mothers possibility of living in such a great place with a great community of like minded individuals who all agreed that they truly enjoyed living at the community and the perks offered. Barbara thank you so much for your kind and patient assistance. I do hope I will get to visit again soon. From a daughter that wished those under a certain age had such great perks and options as Verena.

The staff at Verena was amazing. The food is delicious. They serve breakfast and lunch everyday. They have various and wonderful activities, too. Free transportation is provided for doctor's appointments, grocery and shopping areas. The rooms are wonderful and are fully carpeted. The showers are totaly handicapped accessible. They also have handicapped accessible bath tub. They have a full-sized kitchen with all of the appliances. Overall, the facility is very nice. This is the best for me and my husband out of 10 places that I had visited.
