This is a Horrible Nursing home. The only positive thing I can say is the Therapy department in good. The Nurses are terrible. Total lack of care and compassion for the people who have to live there. The Managers are a joke. I don't know where they find these people. And the Aides are a disgrace. I must say, unfortunately that the one or two Good Nurse and Aides here are Tremendously outnumbered. And the rooms are filthy.

While Laura and her rehab staff are excellent and would get 5 stars from me, the nursing care here completely sucks! On an average they take well over an hour to answer a call light. I cannot count on getting anything done I am supposed to have common for example I am diabetic and I'm supposed to have some type of snack between meals which I don't get. The nursing staff says they have no control over it last night I was having chest pain and could not even get any help daycare is so bad I'm bout ready to just go home and take my chances in a home I would give this facility overall in zero stars if I could the nursing care is that bad. I wouldn't trust this place with my dog here They take on an average well over an hour

My mother-in-law recovered in this facility. It is an overall good facility. Of course nothing is perfect. We did run into one slight issue, an impatient nurse. Yet, the staff handled the situation respectfully and took appropriate measures of dissolving the discrepancy. So one never has to feel unprotected or feel their loved ones are in the wrong hands. Despite the little mishap, I was very pleased with their service. The nurses were great. Our family felt it was a second home. I loved the fact that despite the patients being handicapped, they were very much motivated to get back to being 100% independent because they were not hindered by being told they could not do something or something was impossible. Each staff member instilled pride amongst the patients. I have never seen anyone depressed over their condition or speaking of anything negative for that matter. All in all, I give the facility an A+ and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

On the plus side, some of the staff was very caring, and the therapy was excellent. On the negative side, several things were stolen from my mother, including the meals I brought her because the food was inedible. I several times left nice shrimp salads or other treats at the nursing station with her name on them and they disappeared. Most important: her roommate was incontinent and often urinated on the floor, especially in the bathroom when she could not make it to the toilet on time. This happened daily, often several times daily. The staff response was to throw a sheet over the urine, and my mother would have to walk on it. There was also always urine all over the seat which was not cleaned, and my mother would sit on it because she was not steady enough to stand and clean it. As soon as I found out, I raised the issue but staff refused to put the roommate in diapers or to clean up after her, despite my efforts. Finally my mother left. The location was good, and the facility was bright and sunny, but there are too many serious negatives, including staff who sit at the exit into the garden smoking so that patients have to pass through a smoke haze to go outside. Definitely not recommended.

My mother has been at this facility for three weeks and already has a bed sore. She is allowed to lay in urine and not be changed or washed on a regular basis. The sore on her hip area is open, yet no one noticed it because they have not been turning or washing her. she often has on the same pajamas she had on the prior couple of days. Her water cup is not changed in a weeks time. The social worker asked my sister and I to give them a chance to clear the sore up before filing a complaint, but tonight there is only one nurse on the floor and she covered over 16 patients last night and is covering the entire unit tonight. No way my mother can be chaged or turned. We will be filing a complaint ASAP to have her moved to another facility. Should be shut down.can you reat a negative 1?

We put my mother ther after being in 2 other nursing homes in that area. This was the best choice ever and should have been our first. It was like family there. my mother got the rehab and care all around that she needed and is now back at home driving and shopping for herself. i go there on occassion to say hi to the staff and was there recently and the whole building is being remodeled it looks so beautiful. i strongly recommend putting your loved ones there......
