I toured the Retreat at Berryville. The tour experience was excellent. It was very impressive. It was updated. It had a fresh, clean look to it. The people were very kind. The rooms were small but updated and modern. The staff was young, energetic, and very, very kind. The dining room was warm, welcoming, and brightly lit. I enjoyed the fact that they have a private dining room for people who would like to come in and dine with their family members. There is a garden or a courtyard area.

The Retreat at Berryville looked very nice and clean. We liked what they had to offer and it's close to us. They had a salon, a gym, and a movie room. The staff was very helpful, pleasant, and seemed very nice, too.

My mom moved into The Retreat at Berryville. It's excellent. It's clean, friendly, helpful, the staff is friendly, they're professional, and they're attentive. The food is first-rate. The activities are well designed for every level. There's an activity room, a craft room, a movie room, an exercise room, and there are organized activities. There's a coffee shop.

We have chosen The Retreat at Berryville for my father. He hasn't moved in yet. We're finishing up the medical part today from his doctor, and once they give him the medical clearance, then he'll be moving in the next couple of weeks. It's a very nice facility and we were treated very well when we got there. It is also a newer facility. We were impressed that it also has memory care, too, and he's coming to that, so that way we won't have to move him to a different facility. They have 1- and 2-bedrooms. They were very nice and very accommodating. They have the physical therapy room, they have private dining to have your family in there, they have a spa room, they have a salon, and they have a game room. They have an outdoor garden area. The place is very well maintained.

The people at The Retreat at Berryville seem very friendly and very open. Our experience has been pretty much hands off because of COVID, so what I can see is limited. There's a plexi-glass and you can visit in-between it. Their staff is very friendly and the community itself is very nice.

The Retreat at Berryville is very nice, but I'm disappointed that we have my mother on the incontinence program that we pay $150 a month for, and she still came down with a UTI, which required hospitalization for five days. Other than that, she seems to be doing OK. Everybody seems to be treating her very nice and with respect. They have a lot of activities. They have shared rooms, but she's in a studio, and there's no refrigerator or anything like that. It's a room with a bed and a closet with her own bathroom. She has some physical therapy there, and there's a workout room on the assisted living side. She has not complained about the food. She's a big soup eater and that is always available to her. If she doesn't like what they're serving, she can always have a bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. They have a Facebook page and they always post a lot of pictures of activities that go on, people bringing their service dogs, and there's activities at Christmas.

The Retreat at Berryville was nice, but the rooms were too small. They didn't offer a 1-bedroom with a sitting area nor a kitchen. The staff was good, and the place was clean. We liked everything about it except the rooms. The amenities seemed up-to-date and very good for the elderly. They had gathering rooms, kitchen, cafeteria, and area where you can have oranges and apples.

The Retreat at Berryville was very nice and the staff was very helpful. I saw that the facilities are great, including the people there, the menus, chef, and the rooms. The dining area was very nice, and I knew from talking to the administrator who took me on the tour that even though the resident is getting pureed food, they wouldn't give serve it to the resident like that. For example, if they're getting pureed carrots, they actually make it into the shape of carrots, and I thought that was awesome. It was very clean and the rooms were very nice. They had a little physical room for therapy, a nice art room for art, there's a really nice community section with a fireplace, and their kitchen looked extremely clean.

The Retreat at Berryville was new. The girl who gave me the tour was not the director, so she didn't know everything, but she was able to show me around. The rooms were new and looked nice. It's not a big place. It's a single level in a nice suburban setting. The dining area looked nice and it's a pretty good price.

We visited the Retreat at Berryville. It was quite nice; I think it's only six or eight months old. The staff was nice, friendly, helpful, and that's where we placed my mother-in-law. They have a gym, a workout room, and they do some occupational therapy. The rooms are private with a private bath and walk-in shower, which is nice. They have a small movie theater, which is a very big TV room. They have a beauty shop, and somebody comes once a week to do haircuts. They have a bus to take people out into town.

The Retreat at Berryville is very clean and new. My father's room is definitely a good size. I highly recommend this community. The staff members are great. They're very attentive, very flexible, and understanding. The activities include exercises and movie nights. They have community activities scheduled daily. My father only has good things to say about the food, too. It is definitely pricey, but it works well for the amount of money. They have a very nice dining room, a community foyer area, a seating area, and an exercise room. Each of the rooms has its own kitchenette.

The Retreat at Berryville was very classy, like a hotel. What stood out to me was that they only have 30 people. Vicky, the manager, was very nice and their facilities were nice. We went around and the building is newly constructed so everything is new. They have a lot of nice activities for the residents. They had nice arts and crafts, painting, movie time, a spa, and a hotel. Their dining area is also very fine, like you're eating in a restaurant. You'll order your meal from the menu. Overall, I would rate them a four since I didn't really experience it, I just looked around. I like the manager, and I would rate her a 5. Everything is clean there. I feel bad because Vicky did everything for me since I told her I would like to move right away, so she adjusted everything, but the military came to take my dad to hospice.
