Heartis Bucks County was excellent. The place is fairly new. It was only opened about two years ago. It's beautifully built. The rooms like every assisted living place I've looked in are small, and I don't like that. It had both indoor and outdoor facilities. I liked the fact that Heartis had an outdoor seating area. The indoor living spaces like the dining room were very nicely appointed. They had a very excellent tour director. My son was able to get the financial information that he wanted. They were not in a hurry to get us through. My son and I both have good memories of the place. We saw the menu. We knew that they had three meals a day, which is one more than I need.

My mom has moved into Heartis Bucks County Assisted Living. What I like best is the location. What I like the least is communication. The staff are very caring though. The activities are okay. They offer bingo, word games, and TV. The place is new and clean. The salon is good. In terms of location, it's near to restaurants.

My wife & I were just looking around to see what places are around. We called Heartis at Bucks County and setup an appointment. We meet with Maureen and she took us on a tour of the facilities. We saw a few different size rooms, the grounds, dinning area and a few other things. On our tour we also spoke to some of the people who live there. The way Maureen spoke to us was more like a friend who took us around their new home. She answered any question we had & explained things as we walked around. The residence that live their also were very warm & welcoming and also answer any questions from their experiences. All & all it was very productive few hours with very warm people. When our time comes to move out our home, this place will be at the very top to consider!

My parents are both living in Heartis Bucks County. It has been fine, so far. It has been good. It is a very nice facility. They are staffing up. It has only been open a year, but they're making good progress in staffing. The rooms are phenomenal. The physical plan is really the best. They have a daily schedule of various activities, social things, and special interests. Sometimes they bring in outside entertainment of some sort. They have a beauty shop, a fitness center, onsite physical therapy, and visiting physicians. The facility is immaculate. It is brand new. It is top notch. They should improve on their staffing, training, and the food. Also, the management and communication needs work.

I went to look at Heartis Bucks County. It was a very nice place. If I had the money and could afford to do it, I would have gone into it. It's a new facility, and it even still smelled new, so it was nice. The problem is that you don't have a big buy-in, but the monthly fee is a lot higher than the places where you would have to do a buy-in. One of the sales agents I talked to was excellent. They had their little afternoon happy hour kind of gathering, and several of them were sitting out on the balcony having some snacks. They had a crafts room, a movie room, a nice dining room, a cafe area where you could have drinks and snacks, and outside seating areas. They were dog-friendly, so they had an area where you could walk your dog. The dining area was like a restaurant. There were some large dining tables, and then there were dining tables for four people. They had an extra room, so if you wanted a private party, you could reserve that room and use it just for your family if you were doing something special. There was a patio outside of the dining room where you could sit. It is not a big facility, but you had the grounds. It's kind of built like a U-shaped building, so in the middle is where they have the seating areas. They had furniture out there. I saw a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony, which was nice. You could put two chairs out on the balcony. It had a nice-sized dining area and a nice kitchen with granite countertops. The bathroom was very nice, with a large walk-in closet, so you could store things in the closet.

We chose Heartis Bucks County, and my sister is moving there. It was brand new and the people were very friendly, and they answered all my questions. The rooms are adequate. The dining area was beautiful. They have a lot of activities going on all the time, gardening, movies, and chair yoga. The person who gave the tour was excellent.

We went to Heartis Bucks County. I told my husband when I have to go in one, put me in Heartis. It's beautiful and it's brand new. It was awesome. I just loved it. It was so clean. Everybody there was very, very nice, and that made a big impression on me. They have refrigerators, stoves, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, all that anybody would need. The staff member who toured us around was very, very nice. I believe her name was Morgan. She explained everything very well. The cleanliness was great.

We toured Heartis Bucks County, and its model did not fit what we need. It was renting an apartment. They were relatively new for the most, and very low in occupancy when we visited. They were still trying to come up to speed, being very new. What we got from them by talking to the person there was that they're just independent living apartments. They don't have any assisted living, nursing care, or anything like that. It's just like renting an apartment somewhere. I think it was still developing. They didn't seem to have the things that we've found in other places. They're still developing with them because they are kind of adding people over time and building up their residency. The staff who showed me around was very helpful. The facility was very well laid out and clean.

I toured Heartis Bucks County. It's almost brand new, so there weren't as many people there. They do have people living there on all the different levels. I like the fact that you can go from one care to another if you need to because they have a nursing home, personal care, and all those things in the same facility. It is brand new, and it is very nice looking. They were very nice. The rooms were very nice and roomy. My thing with them was that there was no going outside from your room like there is no balcony or patio situation in any of them, and it's a hallway. I've got a dog, so I would have to take something that would be on the first floor because I wouldn't want to run a 13-year-old Shih-Tzu down through the whole of the second floor and the elevators and all that. And they're on York Road and they're like within feet of the major highway. They have a whole list of things. They have activities, and basic cable is free. You don't have to pay for property insurance, and you don't have to pay for repairs. I met with the salesperson and the manager, I don't know what position she holds, but she was like the top person. She came out and introduced herself to me even though I was meeting with the other person, which was very nice. They introduced themselves and all. They were very good.

Heartis Bucks County is new so it's certainly very fresh. It's contemporary, as far as the layout of it and everything. It's very, very nice that the people are very accommodating. They're professional in the way they go about things. They have activities for the people too. They have a workout room which most places have. The meals are very good, their selections are nice, and they get choices. They bring it around to them. They say if they want more, they can get more. My parents seem to like the food, which is nice. I guess as far as them expediting things, my dad had to go to the hospital, they were on top of all that stuff. They have an in-house doctor and a nurse at all times so they may be able to expedite anything that may pop up, which is wonderful. It's so new that I don't know all the ins and outs yet, but so far, I'm happy with everything that I've seen. My parents are in their memory care and security is satisfactory. They have doors that you need a code to get in and out. There's no way they could get out of that wing of the building. They have a courtyard that has a high brick wall, so even if they go in the courtyard, there's no way that they can wander far. It appears secure and there's plenty of staff in the halls, where they would certainly know if my mom's in the wrong part of the building. They appear to be very engaging and when I call in, they know what my mom was doing. The coordinator for memory care is always aware of what the residents are doing. They seem to be on top of everything and they try to get them out and engage too, which is nice. They keep them very engaged with the activities. My mom was watching a movie down there the other day and so they mixed it up a little bit. Today, she is using the exercise equipment.

We visited a couple of different apartments on the assisted living side at Heartis Bucks County. It was brand new. They were just moving in their first assisted living residents that day that we visited. Everything was perfect because it was brand new. The staff was super nice. Everybody was super friendly and super welcoming. We tried some soup that they had and it was very good. They had a nice library area, a very nice dining area, and a very, very nice movie theater area. I think that was probably the best out of all the facilities we saw. The rooms were nice there, too. They're modern and perfect because they're brand new. The entryways were nice, the common areas were nice and they had a nice art area. It's hard to judge because they're just opening the assisted living part of it. The independent living opened in November of 2021, but they just got their license for the assisted, so they were just starting to move people in. They were good. I would live there. It's gorgeous. They're very nice people. They followed up with us.
