Mom moved to Woodbridge Place and so far she's been happy with the experience. They were pretty good at getting her into the facility on short notice. Her room is OK. She enjoys the ease of not having to prepare meals and being able to have three meals a day and good social interaction with other people. That's been good. The staff seemed to be accommodating to help her out with her needs and they were friendly. I'm not aware of other activities but I know she did bingo night one day.

Woodbridge Place was very homey, light, and airy. The dog came out to greet us right away. The people there looked very normal, not like robots and not like thugs, so that was good. The staff who toured me was the sales and marketing person, so she knows to show you the good stuff and what we need to know. We got to see the actual room that they would like my aunt to take. She would like to have a roommate and there is an older lady that is in a wheelchair all the time, and my aunt is in a wheelchair about 50 percent of the time. We got to look at bathrooms and game rooms. They have a wonderful library. My aunt loves the theater and opera and the Symphony orchestra and things like that, so that was going to be a good thing to be able to watch things on TV, listen to her record player, things like that. We didn't get to eat any of the food, but we definitely talked to people and saw the chef. The dining room was very nice with small tables, four at the most, and tons of windows at the whole back of the room, and it opens out to the forest. The staff member during the tour was superintelligent. It's got everything we needed to check off. It's rather small, but we loved it.

We saw Woodbridge Place. It's very friendly and very clean. They answered all my questions and my friend's questions. The only thing that she did not like about it was the size of the apartments as they were quite small. They don't have anything that they could improve upon. It was more of what my friend was looking for regarding the to size of the apartments, so it's nothing they can change. The person who toured us was lovely. She answered all our questions, and she was very informative. She was wonderful. In terms of upkeep, the place seemed lovely. It was also near shopping, and some restaurants were within five miles.

We had an in-person tour of Woodbridge Place. It was an excellent tour. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were very nice. They had great amenities. They were very friendly. Their dining room was like going into a wedding reception. It's a wonderful place and decorated so nicely that you didn't feel like you were in a facility. They had an activity room, a library, and a small salon. There was a full kitchen in their activities room so they could do a cooking class with them. They also had a theater upstairs. They have things they could do to get out of their room. The facility looked like it was very well kept. I didn't see anything that needed any maintenance there at all. Everything looked very nice. The staff member was very friendly and nice. She invited us back to come another day to spend the day there, which I thought was great.

My mother is in Woodbridge Place assisted living facility in Phoenixville. The staff isn't that cooperative on an issue we had with them. It's a nice place though. It's a nicer place than the ones we have toured but my mother doesn't feel comfortable there. Some of the staff haven't been responsive to my questions when my mother had a fall. I wanted to know some information and they were reluctant to give me anything. She doesn't like the food. They're more upscale than what her taste is, that's why she doesn't like it. They have things like Tuscan pork chops and chicken marsala and they don't appeal to her. There's nothing wrong with the food itself, it's just a matter of her preference. She's not a social person so I didn't have to worry about activities with her. They do have activities like bingo and they bring in musicians. I've been up there when the musicians have been there. They do things like that that are very nice for the people. They're not one of these places that have the pool and the gym for other younger people but my mother is 92 so it's fine. They've just raised the rate. The place is close to my sister, just 3 miles away, so it's very convenient for her. As far as for the other seniors, it's fine and it's a good location. It's not far and it's in a busy area so it's not hard for people to get to it if you know the area. You have to get to know the area though because if you make a wrong turn, you'd get off. The roads up there don't have signs. You make a wrong turn and you're heading to another part of the state.

The gentleman that runs Woodbridge Place was very, very nice. But with the money, I thought it was very small. There were a few things I liked about it, but I felt I was in the closet. I liked the fact that it was on the first floor, and they had an area right outside where you sit and talk to people. The staff was very, very nice. They have all kinds of things. I saw a two-bedroom there and it was clean. I didn't see a kitchen, but the general look of the place was clean. The size was just awful.

We liked Woodbridge Place a lot. Everybody was very friendly and caring. The facility was very nice. The apartments were home-like. It didn't feel like you were sitting in a room. We looked at the one-bedroom, and it was very nice. We liked it because there was a division between your sleeping and your sitting areas. Cleanliness and upkeep looked very good.

My mother lived at Woodbridge Place for four years, mostly in the memory care wing. Shortly after she arrived there in 2016, it was bought by another company and it went downhill after that. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Woodbridge place for memory care at this time, Even though there are/were some well-intentioned management and employees, the overall management , care and communication was not good. We were constantly having to advocate for mom and usually not getting the results we hoped for. One of the biggest problems was that there was never a designated director for the memory care wing, although they kept saying they would get one. Overall, very frustrating experience but we still felt it would be more traumatic to move mom so we stuck with it. She passed away on Dec.1, 2020 on hospice care there. Again, I would not recommend Woodbridge Place for memory care. Look elsewhere.

My mother-in-law is in Woodbridge Place. There's always people available and they're treating her very well. There's a wide variety of activities and there's something to do every day. They're not forced to do it, but there's something for everyone. The staff has been wonderful and very easy to work with, and they're taking good care of her.

My mom is at this community. The place is beautiful, and the staff and food are wonderful. I could not imagine putting her in another place. It was amazing. They have different activities, like hair styling, trips, and games.

My mom was here. It was very homey. She stayed in a very nice apartment with a small kitchen. There was also a bathroom, a living room and a bedroom. They also had bingo and movies for the residents. The food they served were good. She was very happy when she was there. If she didn't need medical help, she would still be there. She had to leave because she needed skilled nursing care.
