Anthology of Anderson Township would have been the one we chose to send my father to. It had more of an open feel for the place. They have higher ceilings and bright rooms. We just walked in and talked to them and did the tour. They had certain nights where they did an open bar deal and it was just like a coffee thing they had with Starbucks. They also said they did cooking classes, which we thought our dad would like more than crafting. In their theater room, they did a lot of history shows and they'd have people come in and do educational stuff on history and all that. Then they had a little courtyard that had a little putting green. They showed us a one-bedroom with a full fridge instead of a mini fridge.

I am very, very happy with Anthology of Anderson Township. Mom participates in crafts and gets together with some women and do jigsaw puzzles. She has become social and joined some friends in the dining hall. The staff is great. They are very friendly and accommodating. Her room is beautiful. They provide transportation to doctor's appointments, if you need it. They also do outings, like grocery trips or to the art museum. They have a lot of different activities that you can participate in. They have a health center, a library, a theater, and an arts and crafts activity center. It's pretty much all inclusive.

I was pretty impressed with the Anthology of Anderson Township. The person who gave the tour was very helpful and the facility looked nice. The staff was on the ball and the residents seemed pretty content. It's just a little bit more expensive.

Anthology of Anderson Township is extremely nice. The facilities are beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The dining area is extremely nice. The staff we met were extremely nice and friendly. I only saw 2 rooms that were like studio rooms. They have a dresser, closet, and space for a TV. They have a theater room and a lot of places to just sit and lounge. Everything is very bright,.The furnishings are relatively new. They have an exercise room with exercise things in it. There's also a salon inside.

The tour was amazing, and if I had been choosing a location for myself, I would've chosen Anthology of Anderson. It was more of a little faster paced place. Right at the moment, they were allowing visitors, and their salon was open. It was a newer facility, it was a little more like the communities I had worked in, and it was a little more upscale. My mom was born and raised and has lived in the country and on farms her entire life, so she's a little more down-to-earth, a little more plain Jane. Anthology of Anderson appealed more to me personally. The sales and marketing director and I just kind of really clicked in the conversation. I feel like the activities were a little more what I would be interested in, but I wasn't choosing for me, I was choosing for my mom. It's about two years old, very clean, and very nicely laid out. According to the sales and marketing person, they were having entertainment come in and doing some streaming, and actually allowing some residents to come and social distance to watch entertainment. Their residents were eating in the dining room at the time that I toured. That's kind of ever changing depending on COVID cases in the communities. If they get COVID cases, then they tend to go back into quarantine. It was a little more active community. The dining area was very nice, well laid out, and good sized. The rooms I toured were very nice, the way they were laid out, and just the way they were set up. They had nice-sized bathrooms with the walk-in showers. It was a little bit newer and nicer, but a little bit more expensive for one thing. It was not a good fit for my mother, and if she began to decline, I would have to move her to another location, but it's a very nice community. The staff was very nice, very accommodating, and very friendly.
