Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport seemed very pleasant. It had sort of a rural country feel to it and had a lot of land area. The atmosphere was very quiet. It had a pond, an outdoor gazebo, and a garden. The lady who took us around was wonderful. I liked her a lot. It's just an older building, so it had more of a nursing home feel to it. The rooms were OK.

I toured the facility about 3 weeks ago. The staff was so pleasant and kind. I met with the healthcare nurse and she was able to answer all of my questions. As we passed the dining hall, I watched as many of the residents greeted her and just had the most wonderful smiles on their faces. This is how you know that this is a good place! When you have staff that make an impression on the residents, well it just warms my heart. I definitely want my mom to live here. I would recommend Summerfield to anyone. Just the backyard alone is amazing! If you haven't toured, then you really need to!

I went to Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport. It's a little bit off the beaten path like more in a rural area and it's brand new. The tour was fine. They were very professional and very good. They answered all my questions. I didn't see the rooms. I just asked all the questions I could ask. The place was immaculate and brand spanking new like a new car smell. The outdoor was impeccable, well put together, and maintained. It's very nice. It's very impressive to drive up. It's a much larger facility. I only talked to the administration. It's a beautiful place. I would live there.

Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport was really nice. I liked the location because it was kind of a country setting. It was like twenty-three acres. The staff members were very friendly and very nice. The food was fantastic. The facility was very clean and new. The rooms just were not very spacious, and the layout of the rooms were not thoughtful for an elderly person. It was pretty basic, generic, and kind of more of a facility feeling, not a home feeling.

It is in a great location. Country setting. Backyard view is great, with a lake and livestock, bird sanctuary, greenhouse and sidewalk circling the lake for walking. Just a peaceful and beautiful area. Very warm and compassionate staff. Chapel, with services on Sunday and Wednesday. Four laundry areas, conveniently located on each wing. Salon and barbershop. Much, much more.

We chose Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport for my mother-in-law. She will be moving in a month or two. I liked it a lot. I only met one staff member. The apartments were nice, and they had various sizes, so it worked well. They're brand-new apartments, so they're very, very clean. They showed me the dining area, but everything was not completed yet, because they're still in the process of building it. It had great views from where her apartment is. It had a bird sanctuary and a nice lake. It seemed very tranquil.
