Under the oversight of on-site physicians, licensed nurses develop residents' personalized care plans, which may include medication management and assistance with bathing, eating and other activities of daily living. To help residents navigate the facility, memory boxes containing mementos from their pasts are located outside of their suites.
North Woods Village of Kalamazoo's New Directions life enrichment program includes a diverse range of activities designed to enhance seniors' intellectual, physical, social and spiritual wellness.
