My friend is in The Mann house. My friend has Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, so he requires both skilled nursing and long-term care. It very much feels like a home. The place only has 25 residents. There's lots of space and nice amenities. A lot of things can be taken care of for you. They have a pharmacy and they have a doctor that comes in on site. They have pedicures, a podiatrist that comes in regularly, and lots of services there. It's a really lovely place. The staff was very caring, very open, and they have all been there for quite a while. They have suites with 2 rooms and a room that is all by itself. They have handicap accessible showers and big windows that look out on the garden area. They have a common area with a grand piano, an area where they can do activities, they have two screened-in porches that are wheelchair accessible, and a small gazebo outside.

The Mann House was a smaller facility. Everyone who worked there had worked 15 years plus. It was a 25-room facility, and it wouldn't remind you of a hospital. It felt like a home, and it was like walking into a house. The rooms were nice. The staff was great. They had an activity room, but I couldn't remember all the stuff that they said they did.

When i used to visited my sister she would always have a smile on her face telling how great everyone was treating her. even though she was going threw hard time after her husbands death the mann house employees really worked with her and help her get out of depression.

The center was okay nothing extravagant they did their job taking good care of my parents and assisting. My mother never complained but my dad did complain about them sometimes not answering on the intercom.

This facility is small, homey, beautifully furnished, and well kept. I liked that the sitting room was fashionable and comfortable, and afforded a nice piano for the residents to play. It appears to be a very secure facility, which is great, as they are located in a rather busy area of town. The staff seemed to enjoy their jobs, and were friendly and educated in their field. The ratio of staff to residents seemed in order. I always like it when I see entertainment on special events to get the residents up and dancing, or clapping their hands having fun. A very nice home for the elderly.

The center was very community oriented. I observed different companies in the community dropping off various items. The center has lost of entertainment. There are suites and penthouses (1 and 2 bedrooms) very nice and spacious. I even tried some of the food that was prepared by a Cuisine Chef.

I am finding that no one assisted living facility in the Atlanta area is any better than the last one that I have had my husband in. Although every one said that the Mann house is the best in the Atlanta area
