I knew about Claremont Place Senior Living because I had a friend whose husband was there. It's just a very nice-looking, clean place. They have a lot of activities. They have a lot of help for the person. I was very pleased with the overall look of the place and the amount of activities they have. The woman who gave me the tour was extremely knowledgeable and took her time with me to learn all about my husband. She showed me all through the facilities and showed me a room and then sat down and discussed in detail the cost, so I was very impressed. When I left, I did not have any questions. They had so much available. There would be something that my husband could do there for sure. The courtyard is beautiful and they even have a little putting green. They have lots of picnic tables. There's a lot of grass. It's not just all cement. I like this place and the cost was not that bad either. It was affordable.

My tour at Claremont Place Senior Living was awesome. I have nothing bad to say about them at all. The director was wonderful, very personable, and gave me extra information. It wasn't just about money. She tried to help me out and showed me the rooms. The rooms were spacious. The director was very comforting. All around, the place was wonderful. I didn't try the food, but they went over the menu with me. They were having lamb or pork spareribs. If you didn't want that, they have a whole list of alternate meals. I was very happy with the dining.

Hi my name is Kathy Keller. My sister became a resident at Claremont Place over a month ago. I was concerned about her because she was living with our brother for 19 years. He passed away over a year ago so we moved her into a senior appt. She loved it there but it wasn’t safe for her to be alone anymore. My brother, niece and I were looking for another place for to live. We looked at several places. Then we found ClaremontPlace. Trish and the staff are great. My sister loves it there. She told me it felt like home. I am very impressed with the compassion and concern that they have for all the residents there. We are so happy that we found this place. I already told a couple of friends about Claremont Place and they are going to make an appointment to have a tour. Thank you so much.

Friendly and caring staff who ensure my mother is well cared for. The food is very good--balanced and varied. They have a real chef at the facility and hold incredibly brunches and bbqs. Holidays are made extra special. For my mom's birthday we were able to have the chef cater a meal for our family in the private dining room! My mom is given her medicine faithfully....CP even arranges for prescription delivery. They have a hair salon, so residents do not need to leave the facility to look their best. Ice cream socials, church services, visiting entertainment (like the luau and hula show). During COVID, they kept my mom safe and provided onsite vaccinations. My mom is happy at Claremont Place. That makes me give it five stars!

My Mom is in the Memory Care Unit. The main building for Assisted Living is nice. And the facility is small and cozy. The food is awesome! The Memory Care Unit, though, is not that great. The dining hall is ugly and utilitarian. Some of the rooms are upstairs, so when there is no nurse there, the residents have to come downstairs and sit in the hallway or the dining room. The staff is terrific to my mom, but many of the best employees have left lately to other nearby places. (They only have one nurse in the morning! And they just raised the rental fees, again!) But they don't want you to know about the staffing. Was there today and took some pictures of the disgusting state that my mom's room is in. Am seriously thinking about taking her out (apparently as many have done lately. They have A LOT of availability.) Gonna have a family discussion ASAP. Used to be a great place until Meridian took it over. Avoid all Meridian places at all cost!

Claremont Place Senior Living is excellent. We chose it for the friendly people, the nice rooms, and the amenities they had. My mom is in assisted living. The food is excellent, Mother loves it, and it's like a restaurant. They have a beauty salon. The living atmosphere is very comfortable, very welcoming, and very warm.

My sister is currently a resident of Claremont Place. The appearance of the place is wonderful, and the layout is well-thought out. I think its a nice place, I just think that they could do better in training their staff members. I thought that for that type of senior place they are very attentive to keeping the patients stimulated, not that patients are just sitting around and staring at the ceiling. My sister is younger, far stronger, and more able than most patients, so they arent able to take care of her. They have a garden out back where they get the residents involved, they have art projects for artistic residents, and so on. The staff members are wonderful people, and I think that everyone weve encountered are very accommodating and understanding. Its just that my sisters behavior is above what theyre trained to deal with.

Claremont was wonderful, but it wasn’t appropriate for my mother. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The apartments were big and clean. The residents were happy.

At Claremont Place Senior Living, their program is very active with different things to do. I had my name on their waiting list. One of the reasons I like them is because they are self contained. Everybody lives in the big building.

Claremont Place Senior Living is a really nice place, like a fancier hotel, and not that big. The dining area is really nice, and the whole place is a little bit more cozy, more vibrant, more lively, and has a lot of activities. On Mother's Day, they had a really nice party. They have a housewarming for new residents and a salad bar every day, and it's really nice. They have a long-term care insurance that's going to come in handy for my friend.

The place is beautiful. The people delightful. The disappointing part is the lack of honest quotes. They quote the prices on units w/o problems. Everything else is based on the evaluation of parents care. The $500.00 expense to have them evaluated and the difference can up close to additional two thousand plus a month. Very heart breaking. To be told "we'll work with you" to "here's the cost." All I can say is "Oh, my?!"
Provider Response
Dear Carrinb, We appreciate your taking the time to visit Claremont Place. We're thrilled that you found our staff friendly and helpful and that our residents were happy and active. We did want to clarify how we go about giving a quote to a potential resident, and let me say it has nothing to do with bank accounts. We do not have a standard price because each individuals needs may be slightly or greatly different from other residents. For everyone considering a move to Claremont Place, we evaluate him or her so that we may best assess the level of care that they need upon moving in. We have found over the years that most people and even family may not be able to best figure out their needs. This is a common practice performed by most assisted living communities throughout California. It is done so that we can best serve the needs of each resident from the moment they call Claremont Place "home". Our process informs us at to what level of care is needed for each individual. We don't like to quote a price before we do the evaluation in the event we find the level of care to be greater than originally discussed. We believe it's best to quote a price only when we know for certain what it will be and to not just throw out a number prematurely. Misquoting can most certainly lead to disappointment and the feeling that we are not being honest from the start, which is never our intention. We do hope that you will come back to Claremont Place for another visit in the near future. And please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you.
