HarborChase of Huntsville is my top choice. It seems to have the largest set of resources that I needed for my wife. Their range of services that they can give to her blends into skilled nursing. It's not skilled nursing, but it's approaching it. The room was not a very good appearance at the time I toured because they were renovating it. It's a studio apartment. It's nice, it has full facilities, and it has a brand new carpet in it as of right now. With regards to amenities, they seem to have everything except the heated pool. I met the chef. He had been working in five-star restaurants. He has a long time ago been in the care industry, and recently, he has moved back into it. He's a very nice and very competent guy. Everyone there says that it's fantastic food.

I visited HarborChase of Huntsville for my parents. The physical appearance of the community is very good. It's nice, and it seems to be kept up maintenance-wise. The staff who assisted me were knowledgeable of what they could do and what they were capable of doing. I saw at least one of the collaboration groups that were kind of socializing and working together in their memory care cell. I spoke with their therapist that was there as well because my mother had a hip replacement recently, and they seemed knowledgeable, too. The dining area looked okay. They had various options and choices, but I never actually tried any of their food. They offered for us to come back at a later date for a meal, but we did not do that. As for activities, there was a group interaction that was going on. It was more of a craft or a painting or something to that effect that the group was doing. The set-up of the rooms is fine. It's mostly a studio arrangement for a single person, but I was trying to place both my parents at the same time, and they can't do that. It's sort of taking two studios and doubling the price. Also, their price point for what they have offered is above average for everybody else that I saw.

HarborChase of Huntsville was nice and clean. The workers were so nice, and the grounds were okay. The rooms were kind of outdated but they were clean. They have a nice dining area too. I toured the assisted living part. I saw the calendar of activities and there were lots for the residents to do but I couldn't remember any of them now.

I've been very pleased with HarborChase of Huntsville. Everybody I have talked to, I've learned so much. Everybody has been so informative and told me different levels of care. It's been a good experience. We looked at memory care. I liked the level of care that they gave. They have a doctor that comes in. The place was very nice. The staff I met was very polite and took us through. I saw him interact with some of the residents. They knew him and you could tell he knew them. He was calling them by name and he did a good job showing us everything. You could tell that he cared about the people. I saw people eating and they seemed to be enjoying and they were conversing.

We toured HarborChase of Huntsville. It was the only place that offered respite care. It was something we were considering for my dad. Overall, the staff members were very welcoming and they were outstanding. It was probably the best place that I toured out of all of them. The staff was very knowledgeable, very compassionate, and very informed on the subject. She was just absolutely outstanding. It was a nice place with a very welcoming staff and very clean with up-to-date decor. There was no smell. It was really a lovely place and I could see myself there. It felt like an apartment home. It was very tastefully decorated and nicely furnished.

My mother moved into HarborChase of Huntsville last month, and I think she's doing well. I'm very happy. The staff is very good. I've visited several times, and Mom is doing well. The room is clean, neat, orderly, and everything works on time, so it's good. I think it's a good choice for intermediate memory care, old people who still interact well, but can't be left on their own, it's a little more than assisted living, and from our standpoint, it's a good choice for us. I really liked the staff, and the people who work with the patients on a daily basis are excellent. I ate with my mom, the food was good, and I was shocked with how well it was prepared. I was very pleased.

HarborChase of Huntsville has a nurse who does medications. The dining room was very nice. The room was very nice, clean, and new. The thing I liked about HarborChase is they had the electronic sensors, so if they got outside, they're able to locate that person because the sensors were throughout the hallways. It looked like a hotel, and the only thing I didn't like was that the refrigerators were really small, like dorm room refrigerators, and they didn't have a small exercise room for the folks to go and get on an elliptical or a bicycle but they had exercise classes. It didn't have much outdoor. The director -- Greg -- is phenomenal. He pretty much has called and checked on me and our status and he said he's willing to work with us.

HarborChase of Huntsville had both one- and two-bedroom apartments. It had a nice living room and served three meals a day in the common dining area. I am just a little uneasy on it being multi-floored in case of fire or something like that.

My mom was staying in HarborChase before she passed away last February. They had a lot of activities, but Mother never took advantage. It was clean and conducive to care. She was there for two weeks, but I haven’t received any refund yet. They did a good job overall.

HarborChase does a good job in taking care of my mother-in-law. It’s very expensive but worth it. They provide amazing service. She’s being watched by a special care unit, so people visit her all of the time.

Harbor Chase was close to my mother's home. The place was very nice. We liked it. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. They were able to change an appointment for us that would work better so we could all be there. They were flexible, very thorough and very professional. The rooms were very nice and very clean. They had a variety of rooms. They were spacious enough, and they had different sizes available, but even the small rooms were fine. The dining area was very nice and lovely. They had activities that they would take people to. They took people to places. They had games for people who were there.

We got a chance to tour this facility. But we were looking for a small personal care house because my sister doesn't want a lot of people around her. The place is nice, they have comfortable apartments, elegant dining rooms, but its too expensive for us and one thing we are looking for is some place that is within our price range. So we ended up choosing another facility.

HarborChase is a very nice senior care facility. The kitchenette was both beautiful and safe to use for my mother's elderly friend who stays there. They have a great Alzheimer's disease program that has helped her tremendously. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in southwest Huntsville.
