Salem Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Ctr

Beware of sending your loved ones here. My father was given a medication to "calm him down". This medication was not supposed to be given to dementia, which my father had and sadly he died a few days later.

My personal opinion of this nursing home is that it is great. I've actually visited the place once before for a tour and it is quite elegant. When you enter the building it is as if you are entering a hotel the scenery is just beautiful. In some nursing homes you might be able to hear the loud sounds of beeping machines but they are just loud enough for the nurses to hear them but not too loud for someone if they are to stay the night or to live their. The food is excellent anyone would not be disappointed by the cuisines made by the chefs at the nursing homes. There are two buildings of nursing homes by different names those names are Waterview Hills and Salem Hills you would not be disappointed by either homes. The staff is just wonderful they will treat with the upmost of respect and will tend to your needs. There is plenty of entertainment, during the winter time the John Jay Middle school choir comes to sing wonderful winter songs. In my opinion if I would love to live there.
