My mother-in-law went into Avalon Health Center after several foot injuries and surgeries which required constant nursing care. Although the main facility, Stoneridge, is a long term senior living facility, they offer short term care for individuals required specialized and constant rehab attention. Her insurance company coordinated the care with Avalon in advance so that a room and treatment plan was available the moment she got there. I felt bad for having to leave her in someone else's care, but my wife is currently deployed to Iraq and my work schedule would not provide the opportunity to care for her needs. Once I had her settled in to her new apartment, nurses and rehab specialists immediately came to her room and addressed her needs. They were exceptionally warm, exceptionally friendly, and very encouraging for her progress. Avalon is state of the art, and offers the best in rehab services for a wide range of needs. Overall, this facility is top notch and I would not hesitate to use this facility again!
