This is a gorgeous facility with every amenity. The grounds are beautiful as are the apartments. The dining room is also attractive with good food but with only about 60% of the apartments occupied at times it can seem a bit empty. There is also a nursing facility on the property which as I understand it currently accepts patients from outside the community.

I have visited Fox Hills. It is a beautiful facility with every amenity. The challenge is the fact that they still have lots of empty units. Thus it seems too quiet and a bit lonely. They need more residents. Also it is not near any services or shopping. They have a mini-bus that will take residents to nearby locations but you really need a car if you want to get somewhere. The grounds are beautifully wooded right near the Burning Tree Country Club but also right on the edge of the DC Beltway.

Under managemenet by Sunise Senior Living. Designed as an elite, high cost senior community with independent living, assisted living includinng dementia care, but no skilled nursing. Residents buy high cost condominium apartment unitsand pay separately for some utilities. Sales have been slow and some price reduction has occurred. Occupancy perhaps only about 60.% after 2 years from opening. Buildings are located on 15 acre wooded land acquired from Burning Tree Golf Club off River Road in Montgomery County Maryland just inside the Beltway. No immediate public transportation or close shopping area. Interior of public areas is elegant and dining and other faciliies are superior. Believe assisted living and demential care may now be available to outsiders on rental basis.
