Comfort Keepers
From the Provider
What makes our agency special is the personal involvement of our owners with your loved ones. We know each of our client's personally. We visit the homes of our clients on a regular basis and speak to the adult children as frequently as they want. From personal experience we understand what it feels like to get that emergency call from a parent that requires immediate attention. When you call us and express that you need care for your parents we schedule the assessment and begin service as quickly as possible.
We also understand the resistance many older people have to having help in their homes. When that occurs we move very cautiously and respectfully until we win the confidence of your parents.
The services we provide include: bathing, grooming, personal hygiene and mobility assistance; transferring and medical reminders. We also go shopping and do errands; we can cook meals, do light housekeeping, change the bed linen and do the laundry. We provide hourly and live-in services. We provide Dementia and Alzheimer's care as well. We conduct Dementia training on an ongoing basis with our caregivers. When we place an aide in the home of a person with Dementia we conduct one- on- one training and focus on activities and issues that are specific to the client our caregiver will be working with. We also work with people who are younger and are recovering from surgery or illness and are in need of care on a limited basis.
Being part of the Comfort Keepers network of in home care providers holds us to very high standards. We conduct criminal and motor vehicle criminal background checks on the local, state and federal level. This is done when the person beings working for us and annually. All of our caregivers are our employees versus independent contractors. They are bonded and covered by insurance which protects our clients from any potential injury claim.
When that call comes for help from one of your parents you can rest assured that working with us will be one of the best decisions you make as you navigate the journey of providing care for your loved ones. Please call us with your questions and concerns about in home care. We answer our phones 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

I am a current client of this provider
The caregivers from Comfort Keepers are very caring and prompt. We've been using them since January, my husband likes them, and he gets along very well with them. They just stay with him, so I can go out and do things.
I am a past client of this provider
At the end of last year, my husband needed help with everyday functions. I was working, traveling and desperate for help. Eydie and her staff understood. They were very caring and considerate. My husband really liked his aide who always came on time. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone from Comfort Keepers (what an appropriate name).
