Home Helpers of Drexel Hill was founded in 2002 by Adam Brown, who serves as President. Brown was formerly a police officer, but left in 2004 to commit more time to growing his business.

"I saw first hand the challenges that families who wish to keep loved ones home face. Childhood memories of my beloved 'Mom-Mom'(maternal grandmother) being placed in a nursing home when my family no longer felt they could care for her spurred me to consider non-medical in-home care. I recall the dreaded visits to the nursing home as a youngster, I hated visiting Mom-Mom because of the overall depressing feelings of the facility and most of all how upset she became when it was time to say our good-byes. My family resented the time that my father spent away from us taking care of his mother in addition to the guilt that we all carried with Mom-Mom not being able to stay at home."

Perhaps most satisfying to Brown is that his 98-year-old paternal grandmother was able to live out her golden years in her home with the help of his service.

Home Helpers offers affordable services with our tailored to each individuals needs. All caregivers our bonded & insured employees who are supervised by an RN. With only a two-hour minimum our services can be used daily or as needed. Home Helpers also utilizes a telephone time-keeping system that allows them to monitor when caregivers arrive and depart. It also makes their detailed invoices extremely accurate.
