Athens Limestone truly shows compassion to those who have not long to be here. The staff was stellar and showed true commitment to the mission at hand. The facility was clean and very warm. The residents are well cared for and although are in their last months or days of life they are cared for with tender care. There are activities for those who may feel up to it on some days. There are movies, cards, and chess and sometimes there are groups who come and bring music and programs. Church groups come and bring Worship Services for the spiritual needs of the residents. The food is tasty and well prepared and has many choices and option for the residents to choose from if they want to eat. The rooms are cozy and well decorated with touches of home to make the residents feel at home. The grounds are lovely and family and friends are encouraged to come daily to be by their loved ones side. The staff here truly cares and takes to heart their mission to give a compassionate setting was one’s life draws to a close here on earth. If I had to place a loved one in hospice I would find great comfort and peace knowing this facility and their amazing staff would be there when their time came to pass along. This facility is amazing and your loved one will be well cared for.
