The Fountains At The Albemarle

I am in love with facility. They simply provide exceptional care to the residents while allowing them to live independent lives. The staff is exceptional and provide the best care in Eastern North Carolina. The Nursing Staff gives priority to making sure every resident is provided with individual personal care. I once saw a nurse bring a resident a home cooked meal that she had made herself. All that just to lift the residents spirits! The atmosphere at this facility is clam and just a joy to be in.

My uncle is a resident at ParkwoodVillage. The scent of the facility makes you sick, the staff doesn't know who the residents are by name, if you come to visit your family. I was walking past one of the residents room and found one of the residents on the floor, that had fell and couldn't get up. When I ran for help the staff came to help him up and had an attitude while helping him up. The residents has old trays from earlier in their rooms that needs to be cleaned up. The staff does alot of playing around instead of watching and taking care of the residents. Some residents have on urinated clothing that hasn't been changed and beds are soaking wet. The residents seem bored and tired out as if they have no energy. ...As soon as my uncle's family and I saw what was going on at the facility we tried searching around for a better one and visited it on unexpected days, to make sure we were choosing the right facility. And now we have found a facility that we and my uncle is happy with. Now he has a smile instead of a tired out boring look.
