Hudson Manor

When I visited Hudson Manor in November 2011, I felt as though I was walking into a beautiful Spanish style hotel. The color of the building on the outside was very bright and cheery, and when walking in the interior I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. There is plenty of outdoor sidewalks for the residents to walk about, beautiful fountains and outside seating so residents and visitors can enjoy the outdoors. The facility is well staffed with very friendly and helpful members and there is 24 hour on site care. They offer an on site barber shop and beauty salon, family style dinning room, and the medical doctor will come to the facility so residents do not have to go to their doctor’s offices. The resident’s rooms are very spacious with either a private room, semi private room and the rooms have waterfront views.

This is a clean,caring community. The staff is very friendly and will help whenever possible. The food is great.

My mother has been a resident at Hudson Manor assisted Living since June 2011. The initial tour with the marketing director was thorough and informative. She was also extremely friendly. All the employees seemed genuinely friendly but the kicker was that all the residents we encountered in the lobby/dining area/porch etc, were all genuinely happy as well. Of the assisted living facilities we visited, Hudson Manor was 500% above the rest. It is homey and clean, with a large dining area, lobby, bistro and beautiful library. The entertainment and activities provided are Aplus. There is a beauty shop housed within the facility and also someone who does manicures and polishes the residents nails if they so desire. Maintenance is right on the ball. Receptionists are helpful and friendly. The biggest point is when a resident uses their pull cord for help, help comes ASAP. I've never notice more than a 7-10 minute wait. Monthly pricing is very inexpensive considering all that is offered
