I visited the facility and was very impressed by the staff. Everyone is friendly. The Residents seem content and well cared for And the facility is clean and the rooms are spacious. It seemed like a very nice home. I will definitely consider this facility when we are ready for placement.

My grandfather was sent here after an ICU stay at howard. My grandfather is very alert & aware of his surroundings yet the staff treated him with disrespect & would lie about thing infront of him. When he would say no that didnt happen the staff would say he was co fused. Every time we went in(everyday) the nurse was on her phone texting. No one listened to our concerns or his. The communication at kindred is a joke. I literally had to clean his room every day when I was there because no one ever did there. He even had a cath leak & they didnt clean up the urine on the floor until i said something. I work in long term healthcare & i am amazed this place is still open. Absolute joke.

My mom stayed at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. The atmosphere was not as warm and welcoming as other facilities. The residents did not have designated goals, those with memory problems were mixed with those who had physical problems. With regards to the staff, I did not see any problem with them. They were friendly and appeared to be interested and professional.
