Olga K.
Senior Family Advisor, 9 years
Olga has helped 1,200+ families move into senior living communities, approaching every conversation with the same care she’d want for her own mother. Supporting families through the same challenges she faced with her own elderly loved ones is truly meaningful to her, and she considers it an honor to help others navigate this stage with clarity and compassion.
She never forgets that each caller is a real person; someone’s mom, dad, or loved one, and that perspective guides the compassion and respect she brings to every family she supports.
“I once worked with a woman who’d been discharged from the hospital to an Airbnb with no family to help her. The property owner called me, worried, and he didn’t feel right just leaving her there alone as she was dioriented. Together, we quickly found a senior living community that could offer the support she needed.
The community partner picked her up, had her assessed by a nurse, and moved her into a fully furnished apartment the very same day. I was incredibly grateful that the Airbnb owner trusted his instincts and reached out. His compassion, and our teamwork, truly changed her outcome.”

How Olga Works with Families
When making recommendations, Olga tries to make sure she has uncovered everything by listening more than speaking and by asking simple questions like, ‘Tell me more about that part, please.’ When someone shares a budget and she sees a...
Olga also makes sure families know she will be with them throughout the process. She tells them she will follow up after their tour and that they may receive check-in emails from the company. She often hears back from families two or three years later when they need help again for another loved one, and that trust means everything to her.
Olga's Commitment to Families
Olga starts every morning with gratitude. The work she does is hard because she’s often supporting families who are in crisis. So first thing in the morning, she writes down three things she’s grateful for, like her health, her family, and having a career where she gets to...
She hears some heartbreaking stories. One time, a client’s dad was hallucinating, and although his wife had passed away, he kept trying to wake her up. He was knocking on neighbors’ doors in the middle of the night, thinking they were his young daughter’s bedrooms. Several neighbors called the police, and the poor daughter was crying because her dad was being held in a psych ward until they realized he had dementia.
Times like that call for taking a deep breath, listening to what families have to say, and helping them find a safe place for their loved one, while also letting them get things off their chest after such a traumatic experience. Olga often shares stories with her clients about what she’s gone through with her own family, and being open like that helps them trust her, because they know she’s been in similar situations too.
