I would 100% recommend Deer Trail for your all your loved ones. Their facility is top notch with excellent care, nursing, extremely professional and knowledgeable directors and front desk. They make it as much like a home as possible with a full menu, entertainment, transportation, exercise, education, bingo, cards, Holliday parties and celebrations, private rooms, and in house housekeeping and salon. Residents are happy and cares for and staff is very accommodating.

Deer Trail Assisted Living is topnotch. It's well decorated and well lit. It doesn't have a smell and there's constant activity. My mom is in the memory care unit and they are always doing something, and it made her physical health improve in one month. All of the staff are excellent. The marketing director, Gaelynn, is always in contact and always in reach. You can just text her and she gets back to you immediately. She also helped me personally move all the items in. The nursing director, Andy, likes to sit down and find out a little bit about the person, about the whole family, and all the dynamics. I actually know the staff by name and there's never been an issue with them. One of the CNAs took the time to help my mom Facetime me on her phone, so that tells me they are absolutely transparent about what's going on. So, it is great. Plus, the food is really good. The place is also beautiful. It looks like a hotel with fancy furnishings put together nicely so that they can have areas to visit, to do puzzles, to watch television, and to read if they want to. They have drumming activities where you put a big exercise ball in a laundry basket and drum it, which is fun for all of them. They play pool noodle polo which exercises them too, while being able to stay in their chairs and do it. They've had several musicians in, a resident that plays the piano, have had the high school student council come and do crafts, nightly movies, and nightly rest music.

The staff at Deer Trail Assisted Living was friendly. They discussed overall what they offer. For food, they have 3 meals a day. They discussed the cost. They have 2-bedroom apartments. They have 1-person apartments, and they also have apartments for a couple. The apartments are clean. They have a great room, a game room, a dining room, and a bistro. At the time we were there, they were eating in the cafeteria or dining room. The food was very good compared to some places we've looked at. It's very well-run. They have very tasty and nutritious meals. It's a very pleasant and clean facility.

Things have worked out fine and are going very well. This is the only facility in Rock Springs. There were private homes, but this is the only facility. My sister's been here for almost two months now. We talk to her all the time, and she has no complaints. It's brand new. The people seem to be very caring about taking care of people there and so forth.
