The training goes through our partnered certifying educator MEDliving, staff will complete a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education in the local area for Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease residents.

The age range is between 40-85. Things our clients like to do consist of bingo nights, pizza nights, movie nights, mindfulness nights, and yoga nights.

We have a ring door-bell, door chimes, and also a camera in the common area to ensure everyone's safety.

The demographic of residents ages range. from 30-65. The average age of people in their mid 40's.They generally like to watch the news, and sports and complete games in our recreation room.

There are a wide variety of places and things to do within the area such as going to Lake Windsor Golfing, The Sun Prarie movie theater, the. local East Towne shopping mall, and so much more.

The Super Bowl party celebration was organized the day of the Super Bowl and the prior month was a day of Bowling. However, due to COVID 19 certain restrictions have been enforced with other community outings.

The transportation services that we offer are the provider's personal company vehicle, and Abby vans and Badger Bus has been another contact for residents.

We know that mealtime has an incredible impact on the quality of life in long-term care, so Partners In Care Helping Hands is committed to helping our clients get the best nutrients per their individual needs. We offer home-cooked three full course meals every day along with 3 snacks. For example, Breakfast: Pancakes or toast with a choice of. meat (protein) scrambled eggs; Lunch Baked Chicken Salad or Soup, and Dinner spaghetti, veggies, and bread.

What common areas are available for independent living residents?

The Common areas that are always open and available are the main living room, the kitchen/dining area, and the recreation room.

We are conducted monthly checks within the home for all carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, along with fire extinguishers. We also. have 24/7 common area monitoring with a camera, front doorbell ring monitoring, and safety lock secure door chimes.

At this time we do not allow pets.

Does Partners In Care: Helping Hands work with an agency or registry to provide nursing and medical assistance as needed?

We partner with Marquendt Nursing as well as on-call nurses 24/7 for the member. providers office.

How many staffers are on duty in the daytime and overnight?

Staffers during the day are 1 to 2 ratio, and 1 to 2 ratio overnight. In other words for every 2 residents, there will always be 1 staff member unless noted for a higher need.

Door Chimes and Smart alerts notify staff when residents open any doors within the home.

Due to COVID 19 residents have been participating more in virtual events for example virtual church service and live virtual events for entertainment.

Our assessments is completed by both AFH directors and it's done every 6 months.

Partners in Care delivers a sense of welcoming by using photos or music with our residents but we are dedicated to providing a homelike atmosphere that promotes aging in place. Our Memory Care residents are looked after with the passion and care they deserve to meet their individual memory support needs, especially at mealtimes.

About Partners In Care: Helping Hands

Partners In Care: Helping Hands AFH will be a multi-level condo-style home located in Dane County, Wisconsin. The home will be in the village of Windsor with quick and easy access to community activities and services. Partners In Care: S&N Helping Hands will be able to care for a maximum of four adults who have mental or physical handicapping conditions, AA, DD, MH, PD, TI, and TBI. Both men and women who are ambulatory may choose to live at Partners In Care: S&N Helping Hands home. The home will have safety measures in place such as; grab bars, gates, and open living-room space to ensure clients' safety is being met. There will be private and semi-private rooms for residents. Transportation will also be available for traveling out in the community.
