Have visited many times as a guest to public events. Everyone is consistently friendly. The facility is always clean. Food top notch. Feel most welcome at anytime I have visited there. Keep up the good work. Don't ever skimp on the quality of your caring outreach to those of us in the community.

Oak Park Place is a really nice clean place with a great facility layout for memory care with long hall and grate lighting. Each hall ends with nice seating area all lots of windows to look out and see some nature and wildlife. I recommend everyone to check out the facility to accommodate your loved one. The staff is always there to help and am happy my mom was so comfortable in her last couple years. I search and looked at a lot of facilities and would choose this one again. They have a saloon and have daily activities for those who can still enjoy fun times. There is not a cost for a loved ones great care. My two sisters and myself all got to experience it first hand visiting on a weekly basis. So take the guess work out of their care. Rooms are nicely designed. Staff is always helpful and we’re there through my moms first and last days.

I visited Oak Park Place Green Bay, WI. I thought it was marvelous, and that's where we'd like to end up, but they have a waitlist, as does everyone. The community was very active. The overall experience was enlightening because I had seen some other facilities that didn't even come close to them. They keep their people very active, whether it's the memory unit or whether it's the assisted living unit. It's far better than any of the others I have seen so far. They have a lot of good activities, like if they choose to paint something, they can. They have an entire room with an instructor that will help you with those activities. So, nobody's sitting around and waiting for the end of life. I don't think anybody ever leaves that place because they're unhappy. I know they have entertainment that comes in. For example, my mom is an artist, so she would have been able to use her oils with supervision because she is 96, but she would have been able to do those things. They have a garden. She makes jewelry, and she could do all of that stuff there. The dining area was very nice and very clean. I have not tried their food; it was just a tour. The person who gave me the tour, her name's Lisa, she was very personable, a very nice person, and very thorough. I really didn't get a chance to see the inside of the studios from Memory Care because they were all occupied. I could see them as I walked through the hall, and they all seemed quite nice. I did tour one of the rooms in the assisted living, and it was very nice. They have a variety of rooms. They have one-bedrooms and two different sizes of studios. The studios were pretty much larger than you see in other places.

We toured Oak Park Place Green Bay for my mom. The layout was great. It felt like an apartment building, more so than a facility, so, it had a more homey feel to it. The staff is very friendly. The girl who was giving us the tour was from the business office, but she knew all of the residents' names and all the staff names, and I appreciated that. The room is spacious. It felt homey versus like a clinical or sterile environment. But the rooms were big, the closets were big, and the bathrooms were very nice and very accommodating. The dining area is very open with lots of different types of tables and spaces. Some were by the window, and some were moved around. It was very, very wide. The building is pretty new, so it had the new look and feel to it. The interaction that I had with them was very good. They seem very friendly. I didn't talk exclusively one on one with any of them when we were on our tour, but what I saw when they were caring for and working with the residents there was very good.

We moved my mother into Oak Park Place to be with my dad. The process for getting her into the building was very chaotic, and I think they could have done a better job. Everything got done, but they had some changeover in staff. I think that was part of the problem. Otherwise, the facility was great. The best thing was she was very welcomed by the staff and other residents. My least favorite part about the place is that they don't have enough rooms available. She really wanted to get into a one-bedroom. It was a two-bedroom, the last place she was in, but she had to go into a studio. We're only taking that for as long as it takes until we can get her into a one-bedroom apartment. Both of my parents have said that the food is OK. They have a lot of activities. There is a TV lounge, a dining room, and a salon.

Oak Park Place Green Bay was lovely. The decoration was just so beautiful, it was very clean and the people were extremely friendly. The rooms were very nice and the staff themselves seem very friendly. They had a Steinway piano, a very, very nice meeting room. When I was visiting, they have two seminars-- one that works for caregivers of people with dementia, and the other one was a couple of musicians came. They share, periodically, music with the residents. And then the residents who are bound to their rooms, who can't leave their rooms to come to the concert, the people who were providing the music went to their rooms after the concert was over and I thought that was really sweet. I love that the setting was really lovely for my dad who farmed his whole life because when you looked out the windows, you could see a beautiful farm field that was just lovely.
