I went to Emerald City Senior Living. The tour is fine. It's really nice. It's all been refurbished lately. It had a nice big lobby. However, they don't have the level of care I need. The staff was very knowledgeable. Essentially, we saw a studio apartment and a one bedroom apartment. The brochure we got says they have a library and quite a few things, but I didn't pay much attention because they won't work for me.

I moved my partner into the community from another community hoping for a better care and activity experience. I was hopeful and pleasantly satisfied after a few weeks that my partner seemed to be fitting in so well! After awhile it was determined that she needed to move to memory care and that her care needs were greatly increasing. I was worried that she wouldn't do well, but again was pleasantly surprised with the staff engagement and help they provided her. My partner has since passed and I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone at Emerald City. The staff was wonderful during her time there and even in her final days she was happy. I am thankful to all the kindness and consideration that was given to her, especially at the end of her life.

Moving my family member into assisted living was a hard decision, but the team at Emerald City made the choice and process easy for me. I moved my family member in and felt guilt in doing so, but almost immediately saw him blossom . It lightened my heart to see and know that he is well taken care of. All my interactions with the staff have been pleasant and they are working so hard during such a trying time.

It was a great facility, but the location kind of removed it a little bit from activities. It's on a boulevard and there isn't much there right now. They have a physical training room with equipment for rehab and independent exercise. They have a nice dining room and a room where folks were playing a Wii game on the big TV. The staff members we met were real nice. The building was very nice as well.

My husband was here. The place is modern and clean. Some of the staff are very caring. The rooms are very nice. It's definitely new. It's good for my husband because it is down where there are a lot of activities. So when people visit him and take him out, there are a lot of things to do and see. He was happy there at a certain time, but in the end it wasn’t a good fit anymore, although I think this facility would be a good fit for many people.

We visited and it is a very nice facility. If we were to decide in a facility, it would be something like that one. I like the cleanliness of the place and the activities they involve the residents in. It seems like it is a good place.
